I ordered this cabinet because of the nested drawer feature in the bottom. Ordered as a pick up, anfd enlisted the help of a friend with a truck. Delivery to the store was delayed a week. We picked it up today and took it home, box looked to be in good shape. Do not recommend

It came dented in multiple places, doors don't close right, thin metal, paint blemishes. I am a big fan of Lowe's and normally happy with kobalt but I regret this purchase. The front doors are thick and heavy metal but the back and sides are thin. The shelves are held by tiny metal tabs you can bend with a finger. The metal drawer is so thin it literally comes flat with perforated sides you bend up by hand. I would return this but it's large and heavy so I would need a truck. Instead I spent a ...

Shipping warehouses mis handled

The item arrived damaged, most likely due to handling by the regional warehouse, and not sure why the local store did not identify the issue prior to me picking it up. No able to attach photos in the survey to demonstrate.

Door Latches Cheap

So I went to open up cabinet door and had door in my hands. The spring latches where there tack welded failed. So ok called there support line which was a joke 30 min to tell me I broke it. I asked for a supervisor hung up. So they don’t stick by there warranty. I would have bought the door nope couldn’t do either. Very disappointed in this

When the boxes are damaged don’t deliver

It was completely damaged which made it so hard to put together. And it would have been to much work to take it back and wait 2 more weeks for the replacement so no I have 2 damaged units i paid full price for.

Very sturdy

As advertised. It looks amazing in the garage. Definitely will go a long way towards organizing everything.

Although the box was in excellent shape upon delivery, it only took removing the first layer of parts to find major damage to the remaining pieces. Quick phone call to the Kobalt customer service number found in the manual and all they are able to do is direct me to an email address. Immediately send the email with all information I was told to provide, and was told I would hear back in 24-48hrs. Lowe's doesn't care about customers

Waited AN HOUR for them to get it from the back when I picked it up. Took it home and found the top was bent so badly that it's unusable. Now they want me to take it all the way back for a refund. It weighs 180 lb. AND I apparently can't get the same sale price. Poor service at Lowe's is not worth the savings. You get what you pay for.

Kobalt for every garage!

This Kobalt 36-in 2-door, 2-drawer cabinet is a big-tool cabinet any man will be proud to have in his garage; it is sturdy steel and as tough as its name. Assembling it is like putting a man-sized tinker toy together. I wore my mechanics gloves to avoid scraping my skin. Also, be careful setting the box down to open it; it is heavier than you think. Ordered two. Both were received with extensive damage. Returned both. Ordered replacements; both much better quality but still had cosmetic defects, not enough to return.
