Cabinet was delivered fully assembled and was in great shape! No dents or damage. Love the blue color!

Great storage

Bought several items to redo our garage. We had Lowe’s assemble the 6 pieces. Several dents, scratches and smudges but I do like the storage these give.

Kobalt Cabinet

Its sturdy and the blue matches my tool box. I assembled it myself due to a snafu with the free assembly at the store. It required some rubber mallet persuasion as the folks handling it along the way obviously either dropped it or dropped something on it. Because of this, I will have to look at a ding in it for eternity, but it is what it is. The drawer seems sturdy.

GARBAGE

I ordered this cabinet because of the nested drawer feature in the bottom. Ordered as a pick up, anfd enlisted the help of a friend with a truck. Delivery to the store was delayed a week. We picked it up today and took it home, box looked to be in good shape. Do not recommend

It came dented in multiple places, doors don't close right, thin metal, paint blemishes. I am a big fan of Lowe's and normally happy with kobalt but I regret this purchase. The front doors are thick and heavy metal but the back and sides are thin. The shelves are held by tiny metal tabs you can bend with a finger. The metal drawer is so thin it literally comes flat with perforated sides you bend up by hand. I would return this but it's large and heavy so I would need a truck. Instead I spent a ...

Although the box was in excellent shape upon delivery, it only took removing the first layer of parts to find major damage to the remaining pieces. Quick phone call to the Kobalt customer service number found in the manual and all they are able to do is direct me to an email address. Immediately send the email with all information I was told to provide, and was told I would hear back in 24-48hrs. This Kobalt 36-in 2-door, 2-drawer cabinet is a big-tool cabinet any man will be proud to have in his garage; it is sturdy steel and as tough as its name. Assembling it is like putting a man-sized tinker toy together. I wore my mechanics gloves to avoid scraping my skin. Also, be careful setting the box down to open it; it is heavier than you think. Door Latches Cheap

So I went to open up cabinet door and had door in my hands. The spring latches where there tack welded failed. So ok called there support line which was a joke 30 min to tell me I broke it. I asked for a supervisor hung up. So they don’t stick by there warranty. I would have bought the door nope couldn’t do either. Very disappointed in this

Quality Storage Cabinet at a Good Price!

This product was very well packaged and was complete and in great shape on arrival. I recommend that you have help with moving it to your work location as it weighs approximately 180 pounds as shipped . Allow yourself sufficient space to work and I that recommend you assemble it close to the location that it will be placed. Compared Kobalt to others in the general price range and found the Kobalt cabinets to have better features – including magnetic catches in cabinet to hold doors top and bottom, locking mechanism that sends bolts into upper and lower cabinet frame (not the cheap turning latch in the center), grommets in the back to allow insertion of power cord, plenty of holes in back panel to enable use of pegboard style hooks and bins, larger “rubber” pads on adjustable feet.
