I see they used My suggestion

when kobalt casestake came out and I the combo one. I left a review/suggestion that the base casestack would been better if it was one big pull out drawer to access tools or whatever stored in it better than having to unstack everything to get to it. And now look what they released.

LARGE single drawer

I’ve been waiting and the storage toolbox finally arrived!!! Anxiously opened the shipping box and the anticipation fell short.. the toolbox is just that a large plastic container with one drawer and connections to add additional Kobalt toolboxes like a Lego set. Very durable plastic

This is a very sturdy one drawer storage container. It is a part of the Kobalt stackable toolboxes. The thick plastic is durable and tough. The singular drawer easily glides and will hold a pretty good amount of objects. The series offers different types of organizers that can be interchangeable. This toolbox is not heavy and can easily be carried around as well. It also locks.

Just simply lose in space

I have 4 case-stack sets 2 being the rolling drawers sets and they have the right idea but you just give up to much space for the extra 10 seconds it take to unstack then in a drawer I can fit 4 drill drivers a circ saw and a multi tool and that pushing to get in there stacked the best way possible in the old one latching I can put 8 drills a multi tool a circ saw and 3 recip saws and still have a little bit of space for maybe another drill js simply more space is the biggest thing

Kobalt 1-Drawer Tool Box is now my new storage place

I’m able to organize quite a few tools in this box. The weight is relatively light for such a big box. The material on this tool box is a durable plastic. It doesn’t dent easily. Being that it is a 1-drawer tool box. I can use the side handles to get a good grip when carrying it. Looking forward to using this box to store my tools.

Sturdy, portable tool case

This is a sturdy, portable, storage case. We are using it for tools we use in the garden and yard. We can easily bring it from the front and backyard. There are clamps where you can add additional cases to it so it's expandable to meet your needs. The case is heavier than I expected and that's a positive for me. Great tool chest for my needs.

Excellent

I bought this with the 3 drawer unit. I like the original one, but this new one is a great upgrade. I like the fact that you now do not need to remove every unit in order to get things out of the base. Also, I like the new quick release/attach system. The unit is strong and thick. The old units still connect to these as well. A plus is that the new attachments do not need the hard to find rails, they attach to the corner hooks
