Useless. Hardly bends, w socket:rigid for over 2"

this was useless. If you're hoping to use this in a space with limited access, forget it. By the time you put even a small socked on it the hard steel is almost 2 inches long. What's more, the shaft hardly bends even with a lot of force, especially near the head. At best this could be slightly helpful if you have 3+ inches of straight access. I never even tried it - it so obviously could not do the job. I returned it.

Reliable & Well-Made - A Great Tool

Needed to reach a hard-to-get-to hex-head screw under the front of a washing machine. I have a good assortment of Kobalt sockets and don't have use for a full set of nut drivers, so this was the ideal solution. Shaft flexes a few degrees but is adequately rigid if bending isn't required. Good design makes this so - if too long, shaft would flex too easily, if too short, it might not flex enough all. Tool solved my problem just as I needed.

Great tool for specific job.

The quality of this Kobalt 1/4-in Spinner Handle with Flexible Shaft is very good. It is durable and well made. I'm glad I was able to locate it for purchase, on the day I needed it, for the job needed.

Very handy for reaching out of the way bolts.

I first used this tool to take apart a tiller. The bolt holding the gas tank bracket was positioned in a way that a regular socket wrench could not get on it. This tool made it easy to get on.

It's not very flexible

I like the designed usage; however, it was nowhere near as flexible as I had hoped for.

Increases reach - flex is nice

I bought this to get a socket into a tight spot on my garage door opener. This did the trick and was a time saver.

bends where you need it

needed something to get into crevices and around tight corners. bent just enough to get in those spaces and still kept it’s torsional rigidity
