I bought this ratchet a couple years ago and the pin broke during use. Brought it back to the store, customer service told me to find the same one with part #337304, nobody has it. They told me to google Kobalt to get the phone number maybe they can help you. Did that waiting for a reply. Still a hassle. Lesson learned. Stay clear of Kobalt tools
Warranty not honored
I purchased this ratchet about 1.5 - 2 years ago and recently the screw in the swivel backed out and one side of the swivel bent during use. Conveniently non of the local stores have this exact ratchet in stock and talking to Kobalt customer service a receipt is required to initiate a warranty claim. Not exactly what I would call a hassle free Life Time warranty, and I will not be purchasing Kobalt in the future
Nice smooth ratcheting action. Will be a favorite.
I purchased 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" inch breaker bars to reduce the chance of damaging my expensive ratchets. This 1/2" drive flex head ratchet cost less than other brands. The ratcheting is very smooth with little back drag. Holding the 1/2" ratchet's socket drive with the handle in the 12:00 pm clock position the ratchet handle smoothly swings downward close to the 9:00 pm clock positio...
Great Ratchet & Price
When walking into Lowes I wanted a 1/2" drive flex head ratchet and I had two options, the Craftsman and Kobalt brands. I do like Craftsman, especially the gun metal chrome but the ratchet price was almost double the price of kobalt , both made in Taiwan, 90 tooth , lifetime warranty so I went with Kobalt and it's been a great tool for half the price of Craftsman so I'm satisfied this far and I can afford to buy another for the price of the others. I am a mechanic and I also do tool reviews on...

Must Have Got A Lemon
Thrilled to purchase this wrench about 6 months ago. Price was great, and everything else about it seemed perfect. Used just a few times for light duty car repairs. I'll grab a breaker bar or impact wrench if I really have to bare down on a nut or bolt. This wrench is failing in the loosening direction. I suspect a spring in the head is sticking or broken. Really disappointed. I assume I can exchange it, but it will take a while to trust it again. I'd rather return it for full credit, so I...

Worthy of your money
This 1/2 in drive ratchet is worth buying coming with 72 tooth and 5 degrees tooth engagement. ratchet is sturdy, The flex head feature comes very handy when you need a better angle of the fastener , Quick release mechanism is a plus in this ratchet , Tooth mechanism is fine and smooth. Negative feature is the Overall Length of the ratchet itself 12.19 (Two Thumbs Down ) ...normally 1/2-Inch drive ratchets are a lot longer than this one. Compare this to the Craftsman ( Chinese Made ) 1/2-Inch dr...

Works good but could use some loctite
Works fine as a quality ratchet should and is nice and smooth. Has a fairly long handle, which comes in handy when setting long lag bolts. My only complaint, and it's a big one, is that the hex head screw that holds the ratchet head to the shaft has a tendency to wrk it's way lose. I found this out the hard way while I was standing on a ladder and installing about fourty 5 inch lag bolts. The ratchet head, spring, ball bearing, and hex screw all landed on the concrete floor below. I was able to...

Nice Ratchet
Its a nice ratchet with a semi locking flex head. The head is thicker than most ratchets but seams strong. Normal 90 tooth count. The handle feels nice sligtly shorter than competitors. Overall a nice addition to the tool box.

Poor quality for a new tool.
The ratchet doesn't hold angle access very well. Good grip aside from keeping hold of the bolt's attempting to take out. Disappointing with the lack of American produced merchandise for a company based in the states.
Good ratchet
The 3/8 drive has a good right flex. It doesn’t flop around. It latches into the socket with a tight fit. Decent length handle. Seems like it will be utilized daily.
