VERY SMALL HAND FILES
I BOUGHT THE VERY SMALL FILES TO FILE A SMALL PLASTIC HUB FOR MY SLIDING DOOR LOCK NOT VERY HARD MATERIAL BUT VERY SMAILL AREA TO FILE A FILE IN ! AFTER ABOUT 2MINUTES OF FILING THE SMALL FILE BROKE IN HALF ! SO MUCH FOR THAT FILE ! TOOK ANOTHER ONE OUT OF THE PACK AND FINISHED THE JOB WITH NO TROUBLE ! TOOK THE PACK OF FILES BACK NEXT MORNING AND TOOK ANOTHER SET ! NO HASLE ON RETURN REPLACEMENT ! FILES ARE NOT VERY STRONG AT HANDLE AREA EVEN TJO THEY LOOK REINFORCED AT HANDLE AREA !

Kobalt Smooth Files Did a Fine Job
I needed a file set to install a new lock into an old piece of desk furniture. Of course, there were no new locks available with exactly the same dimensions as the vintage lock. The Kobalt files were exactly what I needed to carefully enlarge the lock opening in the wood frame without ruining the furniture. The files are of fine quality and easy to handle. They worked perfectly. An excellent purchase!

Excellent for Modeling/Hobbies
Picked these up for my to Scale (O Gauge) modelling for my Train Layout. Note that they are indeed tiny/delicate, but they do the job as I was able to successfully make (and then paint accordingly) such as Rail/Post Fencing, parking bumpers, and other items that are simple enough to do out of wood.

Nice little file set
I bought this to file on a latch on my dishwasher. The latch is plastic, so I don't know how it would work on metal. I would think it would work ok. It was a good price and comes with a storage pouch.
