The Kobalt 36-In 6-Drawer Red Chest is great for storing and organizing all your tools and hardware. The unit is made from high grade all welded steel construction with a tough, rust-resistant powder coat finish. 6 Drawers are all soft-close full-extension and glide effortlessly on ball-bearing slides that can support up to 100 lbs. you can charge your electronics and power tools even when the chest is locked via the integrated power strip with 4-outlets and 2-USB ports. The chest has lock system for added security. Pair this chest with the Kobalt 36-In 5-Drawer Red Cabinet (item: 5215663, sold separately) to create the ultimate tool storage solution.

I purchased this product because the dimensions of 18 inches high would fit under the toneau cover of my pickup truck. I was shocked and disappointed to find out its not 18 inches high, but its 18 inches DEEP. For the price, I would have expected a simply accurate description because I now have a tool chest that doesnt fit my needs.

I read all of the reviews regarding damaged boxes. I needed more storage for my small engine shop. The price was the first thing that caught my attention. I went to my local Lowe's to check out this box. The staff was great and let me fully inspect the box before purchasing. This is not a professional tool box. But, at this price you can't expect that. Perfect fit.
