I purchased this set this last weekend. I was servicing my craftsman wrenches but needed some wrenches that could turn in tighter spaces. These 90 tool fit the need. On initial inspection, I found the pawl (direction) switch screw had tool much end-play on the 1/4 inch ratchet. The screw stuck out a little too far. Great ratchets for the price

I have to say, that these are working out very well. I have a big name brand professional high teeth count ratchet and these do come close at a much better price. I spent more on one of those than I did on the entire set of these. I have used them at least weekly since getting them and have not had one problem. Heavy duty ratchets

I was a little aprehensive of this set because it's manufactured in China. However, upon using the ratchets they appear to have the quality and craftmanship of the very expensive brands. For the price, these ratchets are great and can hold up to abuse. Chrome finish has held up well to chemicals. The tension on the direction switch on all three ratchets is weak, meaning it's really easy to accidentally switch drive direction while in tight spaces or even just bumping it with your hand. Fordward/reverse select lever opposite

Instead of the lever being pushed to the right hand to “tighten” a bolt it actually “loosens” a bolt. Unsure why they went with this particular design. It’s not much of a big deal to me personally because my air/electric ratchets are designed the same. I was also disappointed that the lever itself is held in by a torx bolt on the opposite side. Loved using this set of rachets. Sharp looking, heavy stainless steel,and great weight balance in the hand. Sockets slide on and off easily and quickly with quick release button. I saw these online and has to add them to my collection, I had to order them online since they said they had it in stock at the store and no one could find them. If it wasn't for the quality of the tools I would not shop at Lowes - their help is rated in the negative numbers. The site is hard to navigate and the search function is almost useless. They carry a great number of tools and supplies and I found going outside thier site and finding the part number for stuff on thier site works better. ...

Ratchet Set

The 3 piece set is good only if you have drivers that are extra large otherwise the 1/2" ratchet is not worth it. I think most do it yourselfers don't have this size sockets.. The ratchets were easy to use when it came to actual use, you can flip[ from the on position to the off position with one finger even while the socket was still attached to the nut. All three come with a button to push to either take off the socket or put it on. THe 1/4" and 1/2" one worked great unfortunately the 3/8" one...

These ratchets are wonderful. They have a heavy duty feel to them. Chrome plated for easy clean up, good grip and feel good in the hand. Each of the three ratchets has a lever to flip to rotate the opposite direction with ease and you know it has switched.
