What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this pole pruner for effortlessly cutting branches up to 1.25 inches thick and reaching nearly 10 feet without bending or straining. The dual functionality—detaching to become a handheld pruner—is widely celebrated as a major advantage. Many appreciate its lightweight design, ergonomic handling, and impressive battery life lasting hours on a single charge. The tool excels for those with back issues or limited strength. A few note the pole could extend longer for taller trees, and some mention slight heaviness during extended use. Overall, reviewers strongly recommend it as a transformative yard work solution.

I've always used the manual branch cutters. With those you have to use a lot of force on anything larger than half inch or so. This will snip a one inch branch without any effort. The extension is just the right length for low hanging branches.

beautiful but somewhat dangerous
This is only electric pruner that is on an extension pole. It's the only one you should buy. Never use any electric pruner as a hand held device, too easy to lop off a finger or two in a heartbeat. Take a look at the short video on this site, you will see somebody holding the branch with one hand and running the pruner with the other. See how close the jaws are to the left hand. Never do this. Otherwise it is great pruner, a little heavy, but it really works well.
Easy and fun lawn tool.
Who would have ever thought that trimming my Needle Palms would be fun. No more getting stuck in the hands by the trees needles ever again. Your hand are very far from the branch so it make cutting the branches very easy and safe. It times out after 60 seconds of non use and is very easy to turn back on. It doesn't hurt your back as much from bending over to trim the branches. I have used it a lot and have had no issues with the battery. If you try to cut a branch that is too thick, it just beep...
Magnificent!!
It surpassed my expectations. I've used this for a few months on little trimming jobs (azaleas, crepe myrtles, etc.). It is light weight & easy to maneuver in tight spaces. I just spent 45 minutes using it on an overgrown rhododendron. It breezed through branches & limbs without almost no effort. Precise cuts every time. Better than I could have done with my lopping shears. As an added bonus, I was able to reach limbs that I would have to clear a path to use the lopping shears on. I've had a...

Replaces three other tools.
I used to take three pruners out to the yard: a pair of one-handed shears, a medium pair with 12" handles, and a large one with 24" handles. I found myself constantly putting one down and picking up another as I worked through differently sized branches. This power pruner handles all diameters, and its one-handed operation allows me to grab and stack the cuttings with my other hand. That alone makes the work go faster. One-handed cutting also lets me use the pruner as a poor-man's "chipper",...
Poor
This is the biggest joke for an edger the plastic blades ruin in 2 minutes. String trimmer is okay .

A seniors helping hand for sure!
My husband bought this for a couple of our properties and as a senior with bad back and knees he absolutely loved it...It extends so no bending over or getting on his knees to prune low plants and also reaching overhead for low hanging branches that try to dismember you when passing under them for whatever reason you have too...lol A real time saver too! It is strong and cuts thick limbs like slicing through butter...Thanks for the help!! Highly recommended.

A good reach
I bought this to clear annoyingly low branches while mowing around the farm, which seem to replace themselves seasonally. I just got tired of using the manual version and these have a longer reach as well. They are still new so no issues to complain of, but I will update if that changes.

Perfect for Invasives
This is the best thing for cutting invasives like honeysuckle or other brush/small trees off at ground level without having to stoop over. Also works great on eastern cedar to cut back branches so that you can reach the trunk with a chainsaw. Have used for 3 hours straight on only a half of a 4 amp battery. Seriously the best pruning purchase I have made.
Trimmer
While this is a good product, having to additionally buy battery and charger is both extra expense and a pain in the rear.
