Must Have Tool

I knew this product was going to be useful and it exceeded expectations! There’s definitely going to be a time and place where you’re going to need a tool in this form. I used this Kobalt tool to build floating shelves out of 2x2. There were spots where a compact drill did not fit, but this tool would. The only negative is it doesn’t have a clutch, but maybe that what makes so compacet in the head.

The Product is fine it was the foolery that bothers me. We were charged several different amounts for this product that total $.745.00 and no one could explain why. The chargers were pending for multipul days and had my account held up when I had important bills to pay.

A lifesaver on floor joists.

Drilling holes in floor joists for pex was so difficult w a regular drill. It was so hard to navigate the drill at an angle to start account the size of it. Took a trip to lowes, purchased a Kobalt right angle drill w a 1 1/2 inch aggressive drill bit, drove back home and dove right in to the set aside project. It went through 4 inch joist like butter. Worth its weight in gold in tight spots. Love the optional torque settings too.

Lifesaver for tight corners

Strong tool for its size. Great for getting in tight corners. Made getting to screws set in odd places easy to get to in a remodel of an old building. Saved me from taking out hundreds of screws by hand. Just as powerful as all of the big name brands but for a better price. Definitely look to Kobalt as my brand of choice.

Great for tight spaces

Had been looking at getting one of these for a while. Finally took the chance and purchased one. This tool lets me get into smaller spaces where I can drill holes or drive screws. Haven’t ran into any issues with the tool and using the tool. There’s been enough power for all the jobs I’ve used it for so far. Keyless chuck is great for changing out bits.

Kobalt strong

This drill met the expectations again as Kobalt has always done. This was purchased to use on a 1920, chopped and channeled coop. For those unfamiliar with cars, its very small and tight. In order to fix the brake lever system, a drill that does not need extensive room was needed. This drill fit the task perfectly.

Phenomenal Tool if You Get one that Works

The first one i got worked beautifully. Incredible torque. Liked it as much as my impact driver for lots of applications, but the forward/backward switch was loose and it would slip into the opposite direction if left in a horizontal position. I wonder if quality control ever checked its performance when holding the drill in a horizontal vs vertical position? Got a replacement, and the torque faded out before finishing driving a 3 inch screw in the same type of wood as the first one I tried out....

This is a very nice right angle cordless drill that works well and strong.

The trigger could be in a little different spot.

The handle on this unit is long, and the trigger is located just a little too low when you need to apply pressure while using one hand. I wish the trigger was a little higher. One other thing is the head does not pivot. It would be nice if you could pivot it to be straight. Other than that, the drill is great and that is why I am giving 4 stars.
