Kobalt 24 Volt Automotive Kit

Underwhelming Performance

I recently bough this tool after watching on of the Youtube content makers showing this tool deliver a high amount of torque and I was excited to get this tool but once I used it to loosen the mounting bolts on the lower control arms on my wife's vehicle it struggled for about ten seconds to get something torqued at 125 ft-lbs. Going by its rating it should have not struggled so badly. It can say that it is large and bulky and can hard to balance when reaching into certain spaces which can limit...

Always go with the 1 half.

I bought this 3/8-inch impact expecting to use an adapter for my 1/2-inch sockets, but the impact was defective as no adapters fit. NONE. I purchased multiple adapters and they simply would not fit the way they should. Because of that, the tool ended up being unusable for the work I needed. I wish I had skipped the 3/8-inch model and bought a 1/2-inch impact from the start. Save yourself the frustration and go with a 1/2-inch angle impact like a Milwaukee.

Great tool for a decent price

Right angle form factor is amazing for doing engine work. It's also significantly stronger than my old impact driver. It's become my go to impact wrench.

This Kobalt 24V Right Angle Impact Wrench doesn’t ask questions. It just gets the job done—fast, quiet, and mean. I picked it up for my Mustang builds, and now it rides shotgun in the toolbox like it owns the place. There’s torque where it counts. It fits where your standard impact cries and gives up. Suspension work, engine bay nonsense, exhaust bolts that haven't moved since the Bush administration—this tool doesn’t care. Pull the trigger, and it delivers. No cords. No whining. No stripping kn...

Robust Impact Wrench

Love this Impact Wrench. It works on everything I throw at it! Robust, the trigger with variable speed is nice although I would like a setting selector instead. The only thing that can be tricky is it's head is quite large so it's not great at getting into tighter spots but 80% of the time it does what I need it to where I need it to do it.

Good Tool

The Kobalt 24-volt Max Variable Speed Brushless 3/8-in Drive Cordless Impact Wrench is a top-notch power tool that truly stands out in the market. From its compact design to its impressive performance, this impact wrench is a game-changer for DIYers and professionals alike. One of the standout features of this tool is its brushless motor, which not only provides more power but also ensures longer runtime and enhanced durability. This means you can tackle even the toughest tasks without worrying...

Definitly a hammer wrench

This product is a powerful impact wrench, but it doesn't have any torque adjustment settings. So if you need to set a torque exactly, maybe go with something else.

top of the line

the ratchet is a little on the long side but the performance is outstanding , I strongly recommend putting this in your tool boxes. Excellent addition.

Excellent tool

Does the dirty work in the hard to reach places. The torque is really good for a right angle. A must have for anyone doing suspension work. That's why I bought it.

Solid for what it's meant for

This is a pretty solid product when using the right applications. I have cordless ratchets (2) and a Makita impact wrench with 700 plus foot pounds of torque. This is neither of those. Will be perfect for working on brakes and in tight locations like that well you can't get a "drill style" impact wrench. It's closer to a strong ratchet in a week impact gun. I got it free with two batteries and a toolbox for a hundred bucks so I'm not complaining. Wait for sale. Try it out. If you don't like it t...
