Kichler Dover 9 -Light Nickel Seeded glass Metal Chandelier

The Dover 37-in 9 light 2 tier chandelier features a transitional look with gentle curves in Brushed Nickel finish and etched seeded glass. The Dover works in several aesthetic environments including transitional and traditional. Cleaning instructions: Be certain the electric current is turned off before cleaning. Clean metal components with a soft cloth moistened with a mild liquid soap solution. Wipe clean and buff with a very soft dry cloth. Under no circumstances should any metal polish be used, as its abrasive nature could damage the protective finish placed on the metal parts. Never wash glass shades in an automatic dishwasher. Instead, line a sink with a towel and fill with warm water and mild liquid soap. Wash glass with a soft cloth, rinse and wipe dry.

Defective part

We just experienced the sane issue with the loop at the top of the fixture that connects to the hanging chain broke in half, The entire fixture was hanging by the electrical wires and the ground wire. I have no idea why it did not fall onto to our dining room table. Can this part be replaced?

My wife and I did some extensive shopping before deciding on this fixture from Kichler. It was a special order item from the store. The Lowes staff was very helpful in working with us to place the order. The first box shipped quickly (from the manufacturer), but was missing one fitting. This could have been overlooked except for the fact that a part of the lower fixture was knicked. We returned the first fixture to the store and ordered a replacement. Very pretty in 2 story foyer

Would Recommend

Fixture looks really nice in my two story foyer, 19' high. The curved arms are a nice design, without being too busy. I also purchased 3 matching flush mount fixtures that coordinate to replace the hallway lights on the first and second floors. Just what I needed to upgrade lighting!
