Very good machine

Great machine. Like the different levels to choose from in the cut length. Only bad issue is having to push and keep the button pushed in just to get it to back up...that's really annoying.

Disappointed

My husband and I needed a new lawn tractor. We went to Lowe’s on Peach Street in Erie and purchased a John Deere and made arrangements for it to be delivered to our cottage in Ripley NY on Friday, Sept 11. I was not there when it was delivered, but when I looked at it an hour later I saw that part of the hood was missing. In fact, I could put my arm into it and touch the motor. Solid machine

First time buying a new lawn tractor. The S130 was my choice and the 2026 looks to be a solid machine. Just hit 10 hours, and it runs like a top. I did remove the discharge chute because I need to gauge where the edge of the deck is, and it was a bit on the bulky side for my tight yard. The deck hangs out more to the left than the right, so it was hard to tell where the edge was on that side when cutting. My Outstanding John Deere Model S 130 Lawn Tractor

For me this was an outstanding Lowes purchase experience. I saved a few dollars off my new John Deere model S 130 lawn tractor due to a limited time price reduction which also included a half price delivery charge. I was able to schedule delivery on a date and time that was convenient for me. My great looking new John Deere lawn tractor was delivered on the scheduled date and time and in pristine condition. Poor customer service

Lowe's customer service is not good. While their empathy is fine they have no ability to problem solve. The original machine delivered broke down after 4.7 hours of operation. When I called to get a replacement I was informed that it would take ten days to arrange an exchange, even though surrounding stores had multiple units on site. Further, two days before the scheduled exchange I was informed that there was a further inexplicable delay and I would not be receiving the replacement as schedule...

S130 Tractor

Don’t buy this tractor. I have 0 hours of use because it won’t start. I went through every step to make sure everything was done the proper way. I called the phone number that is in the tractor for a dealer. I then am told that I have to pay for them to pick up the tractor and redeliver it when they find out what is wrong. I bought a John Deere because I thought they make quality tractors. Next time I will definitely look at other brands - never another John Deere.

Faulty equipment/Terrible customer service

I purchased the tractor on 31 Mar 26. It was selling for $2899 with 48 months financing the same as cash and I found this a pretty attractive offer. It was delivered 4 Apr 26. The tractor is hard to start and stalls out. Total run time on the engine as of this writing is 0.08 hours. It's been in the shed pretty much since delivery on 4 Apr 26. I went to the local Lowe’s in Salisbury Md. with the intention of purchasing the S130. I had no problem in finding a store attendant to help me. I showed him the mower I wanted. He quickly handled the details of the sale giving me payment option. It took no time at all and I was on my way home. I was a bit anxious over what I would find out once home. For days prior to delivery I got updates of on time delivery. Even the morning of. Then shortly after the update I got an email that said it was delayed and a Lowes rep would call. No call.
