I bought this John Deere in May, 2026 worse machine I have purchased and it’s my first and never purchasing a John Deere again bought it for its great reputation but not sure if it’s Lowe’s assembly to have constant issues and definitely next purchase will be with John Deere Directly or MAYBE NOT EVEN! Dead Battery
I purchased the John Deere riding lawn mower on July 18, 2026 and delivery was on July 22, 2026. The riding lawn mower didn't come with an owner's manual; I had to watch a YouTube video at least three times to try get it started. To make a long story short, the battery was dead and I had to boost it with battery cables. Ridiculous
Had my mower delivered. Filled it with gas and it will NOT start. Trying to get in contact with someone to fix this issue has been a disappointment! Customer service said they can come pick it up on August 20th. My grass will be a jungle by then. This is unacceptable customer service and I am likely to take my business elsewhere where once I get refunded for this lawn mower.

I don't accept the way they handle my order. I've been a lawyer customer at lowe's for years, i was trying to refund my riding mower, because I didn't like how it sounded. Dead battery first time starting
Brand new John Deere Mower delivered. Couldn’t start. Tried everything and had a relative come over with a battery tester and charged it up. Brand new battery was delivered dead. I was able to mow just fine with it and hopefully the next time I mow the battery won’t be an issue. I called store to report and she was very nice and helpful said this was the second one this week with dead battery after being put together. Otherwise I really like the mower, it’s fast, easy to change gears etc.

Poor service from Lowe's and poor QC from John Dee
The mower was delivered and the PTO wouldn't stay engaged so the blades didn't turn. Notified store 'manager' and was told they would bring me a replacement mower and pick up the defective one the same day. Next day and the defective mower is still in the yard and no replacement was delivered. The next day I talked to a different 'manager' and was told the defective mower would be picked up and a replacement would be delivered. Poor care and handling Poor delivery
Read the owners manual thoroughly after delivery before operating. Mine arrived with the emergency brake handle disconnected from the linkage. The hydrostatic bypass valve rod on the rear of motor was not fully depressed like its suppose to be. Even though the delivery driver started the mower and drove it into the front yard after lowering the truck ramp.
