The riding lawn mower didn't come with an owner's manual; I had to watch a YouTube video at least three times to try get it started. To make a long story short, the battery was dead and I had to boost it with battery cables. After cutting the yard , I called the Manvel, Texas store and spoke to an employee, he informed me the driver should given me an owner's manual and I told him he didn't. Today...
Got a Lemon
I expected better from John Deere. But the Mower stopped working after 20 seconds then had to return.

I don't accept the way they handle my order. I've been a lawyer customer at lowe's for years, i was trying to refund my riding mower, because I didn't like how it sounded. I thought something may have been wrong with it. It was said that they only refund 2 days after purchase. But this was the 3rd day, so they wouldn't help me with that. Poor service from Lowe's and poor QC from John Dee
The mower was delivered and the PTO wouldn't stay engaged so the blades didn't turn. Notified store 'manager' and was told they would bring me a replacement mower and pick up the defective one the same day. Next day and the defective mower is still in the yard and no replacement was delivered. The next day I talked to a different 'manager' and was told the defective mower would be picked up and a replacement would be delivered. Poor service
I purchased this less than a quarter mile away from my house and I was told I it's being shipped from a where house not from the store where I bought it and instead.having it the day I purchased it or the next day. It is now a week later maybe some time today to receive it if the truck doesn't break down again.

Lowes Customer Service
I purchased this item brand new. When delivered the delivery guys just dropped off and took off. The product was damaged on the front bumper and the belt that turns the blades is loose to where the mower deck shakes. Been trying to get ahold of customer service and no response. Will have to go in person to get anything accomplished. I would like to be contacted about this. Please advise.

Poor care and handling Poor delivery
Read the owners manual thoroughly after delivery before operating. Mine arrived with the emergency brake handle disconnected from the linkage. The hydrostatic bypass valve rod on the rear of motor was not fully depressed like its suppose to be. Even though the delivery driver started the mower and drove it into the front yard after lowering the truck ramp. NIce mower, lots of traction and nice features.
I expect to be very pleased with this mower. It is easy to drive, cuts well and has nice features. My only complaint is that the manual is not very clear in it's directions. My old mower was really old and had none of the "new" features this mower has. I love the features, but would have liked to have more detailed instructions.
