It was easy to locate in the store, easy for my son in law to install ( already had one so it was a quick trade out) and it comes with a 3 year warranty!

Works great
Water hot enough to make tea and get a head start on boiling a pot of water, but not so hot that a little splash burns skin. We love this thing.

water doesn't flow fast enough
water trickles out, far below stated flow rate. useless. had a repairman in, confirmed defective or useless machine, installed properly. fill rate is 1/4 what is advertised

cheap, poor instructions
what size fittings do you need? these lazy, very likely offshored instructions will leave you forever wondering. instructions are truly terrible and only in the tiniest print many pages in do you discover you need more parts. how many? unclear. what kind? oh don't you worry you're left to imagine. I will probably have to return because I don't have the patience to buy every fitting at Lowe's. your video is also truly terrible. we need to know SIZES OF FITTINGS it's like you never installed one w...
The HOT-250 doesn't leak at the faucet knob!
I have used 3 HOT-150 model faucets and they all leaked when activating the hot water by pressing or turning the knob. I decided to spend the bigger bucks for the HOT-250 model with the knob higher up on the faucet. This one is solid, no leaks! I suspect the HOT-150 faucets have a problem with mounting them to the sink causing something to warp in the mechanism. Yes I had to go to the hardware store to get the correct cold water tap (my old one was a copper line, this one is plastic, but I'...

Replacement parts unavailable
This product worked well, a bit noisy during the heating cycle, but not overly loud. The reason for the poor review is that the product developed a leak where the upper and lower half of the tank join. A simple gasket failure. The company does not sell replacement gaskets. The service center informed me I needed to buy a new tank.

Replaced expensive copper tubing with plastic
Replacing an old Insinkerator that died with this one. Old one was quality and had three copper tubes for connecting. They got cheap and replaced the copper with plastic. Not a problem until we tried to connect the water inlet tube to the existing copper connection. Won't fit unless we buy a "ferrule and a T fitting" which is not supplied and they do not sell one. When we called the first guy said just to connect it with the existing compression fitting, which we pointed out won't work becau...

Great when it works. Terrible warranty
Purchased this as a replacement for a unit that functioned well for many years. This unit worked for about 3 months and then tripped the GFI. Even though there is an in home warranty, when you call Insinkerator they tell you they do not have an authorized service center in your region. Instead they say they will mail you a replacement and you have to install it... no problem with that. The replacement lasted 2 months, then the same problem. I called and went through the same troubleshooting for...
SO unclear on needed parts.
"t fitting or angle stop valve" is hot garbage instructions. - do you know how many of those there are at Lowe's?? if three different Lowe's employees and my entire family can't figure it out you need better, clear instructions. stop outsourcing stuff, link products and use clear language.
Worked great, until it didn’t
My instant hot water dispenser was installed when we remodeled our kitchen. We had one previously, so we knew we wanted it again. This one lasted 10 years, and now no longer heats. No leaks like the previous one that failed. I guess 10 years is pretty good. Ordering another, hope it last another 10 years.
