Bought this 24x36 sheet metal to reinforce a wall p, perfect fit, easy to cut and work with.

Great to use as a magnet board

What can I say, it's flat, I can stick magnets to it, and it is easy to cut to shape to put wallpaper on to put it in a frame to make a magnet board.

Magnetic poster board for stickers

I wanted a place to put stickers that wouldn't be all over my other stuff and would be usable as a magnetic board for notes and whatnot so this was perfect! I got a 3 pack of cheap poster frames and will have a few of these around the house. I had originally wanted to use it as a magnetic dry erase board but the markers I have aren't terrible visible on it. I like the sticker idea better anyway. Inexpensive and useful.

Exactly what I needed

I purchased 2 of these galvanized sheets and they were exactly what I needed, I did have to go thru the stack to find a couple that were not damaged on the edges.

False advertisement on thickness

Lowe's should be embarrassed on the thickness specification of this metal. I purchased it because I needed 1/16 inch metal to match up with another project. Unfortunately this is closer to 1/64 inch despite the specifications saying it is 1/16 inch. I knew that it was extremely thin when I picked it up, but measured it when I got home using two credit cards. A typical credit card is .75 mm so 1/16 inch is close to 1.5mm or two credit cards. You can see in the picture that it isn't even close to ...
