Great for romex

These worked great when running wiring for my shop. The wire lays perfect into the plastic piece on the staple ensuring wire wont be damaged.

Don't waste your money

I attempted to use these with stranded wires, but no matter how many times I tried, and how much I twisted the strands first, I could not get the wires to seat inside the connectors. I purchased WAGO 221 connectors instead, and they were amazing. I'll be returning these crappy connectors.

I will never go back to wire nuts. These are easy to use and see that the wires are seated all the way in.

Not nearly as good as other options

I have used several brands of snap closed wire fastners and this particular option is the worst. No instructions on the side. I see a small opening where one would think you could release a wire but it does not work. Small twisted strand wires are not strong enough to push in so solid wires only. I tried to use one and put them all away. I have been doing wiring for 30+ years and these are the worst option.

Just used some of these on an outlet. They are amazing! Much more user friendly for the homeowner than wirenuts. Only used them on solid wire, haven't tried stranded yet.

If you need to join three wires, these are great

These are so much easier than fussing with wire nuts, you can push wires in one at a time and don't need to worry about one wire popping out of a wire nut. I like them because they let me put an incoming wire, outgoing wire, and wire to a socket, tuck the whole lot neatly at the back of the box and not have to fight with wires and wire nuts to then screw the socket to the box.

Good for clean installs.

I bought these to try during a 2-gang to 3-gang box addition in my garage. I had two switches in the box, a single pole and an3 way, and wanted to add a GFCI. I saw these on display and having never tried them I gave it a go. They worked fine, but the major drawback is being unable to correct a mistake. Once you insert wire, it’s a done deal so my advice is to make sure you’re happy with the wiring before setting these.

Good for solid to solid

Great for solid to soild. I'd buy the ones with the lever if you need to connect any type of strands. (the strands when inserted in these got bunched up / were easy to remove - i went to buy the lever one afterwards). I've used these in the past for solid to solid and they are fantastic though, i wish they kind of indicated that better on the package. Still, again, if connecting solid to solid - go with these.
