"Pretty good" of both worlds

I really like how slim and compact this cover is, especially being an in-use cover. The clear front is helpful for being able to see the indicator light on the GFCI. It's operation is a light clunky. I installed these for my mother-in-law and it's pretty hard to pop the cover out for in-use operation. I'm sure that will get easier with more uses over time.

Electricians will love this incredible box!

Whats not to say, this amazing little box really holds the wires! No wonder 🤔 there's codes for wiring. You need to buy the wire nuts . That will make it so it doesn't spark so much.

Low Profile Weatherproof Electrical Box

I really like the low profile of the Hubber weatherproof electrical cover box when it’s not in use. It expands enough to plug in most electrical cords, run them through the cutout at the corner, and still close securely. Installation is a breeze, and the only minor difficulty I have is expanding it—mainly because I worry I might break the plastic. I hope it holds up well to the heat here in Las Vegas.

Great idea, might not be watertight

Better than nothing, but a bit underwhelming. I have a smart plug that hangs out of this, like a 1’ 3-fer would. Our previous GFCI had failed because being mounted sideways, there was nothing protecting it from water when something was plugged in. It’s too early to tell if this product will protect the outlet, but with the plug putting outward pressure on the cover seems to push the overlapping joint enough that I’m not confident it is still shedding water properly. Receptacle adapters, hardware, directions included

Very adaptable based on receptacle style. I liked the included adapters even though I did not need them (I swapped in an GFCI receptacle to bring outdoor outlet up to code and modern standards). Easy installation. Pop out expanding cover was a bit tricky to learn at first but now I understand it. Looks GREAT compared to the older style 50 year old cover it replaced. Happy with how it turned out.

Quality, bought before, 8 years ago and still holding up. So bought another one for another project. Well worth the investment

Raintight

Easy enough to install. There are two latches on the corner and the bellows is a little stiff. So far has kept the rain out!

Great Design

This expandable style of cover is much better than covers that leave the receptable recessed within the box. Many tools or devices I use outdoors have a larger transformer style plug that doesn't fit in the other hard box gang covers.
