6 Coats Guaranteed

I was painting a section of ceiling in the garage. I bought this Sherwin Williams - High Hiding, Stain Blocking paint and primer with guaranteed one coat coverage. It specifically said for bare drywall and showed a picture of bare drywall for a perfect use for this paint. After 5 coats i could still see the drywall tape lines verses the drywall. I put a 6th coat on that mostly got me a consistent color but I did touch up with a 7th coat in some places. Ridiculous for a HIGH HIDING STAIN BLOCKI...

Great coverage after the first coat

Great coverage. Used it to refresh an already painted ceiling that had some scuffs and drywall patching done. Was able to get the job done with only one coat.

Good coverage

I spent weeks researching “best ceiling paint”, and purchased an expensive brand that turned out to be drippy and full of lumps that quickly permanently stuck to my ceiling. Fortunately, I got a refund. I decided to try this. In general, painting a ceiling is pure torture. Adequate ceiling paint

This isn't my favorite ceiling paint, but it does do an adequate job. It definitely took multiple coats to get the desired results. The overall look of the room did improve greatly with a few fresh bright white coats of this ceiling paint.
