Stopped working after 2 years

Bought the next new, worked fine for 2 years then decided to stop working. Wont find WiFi networks, shuts off every 3 hours, Nest advised me to buy a new one.

Owned a Nest thermostat since it first came out in 2012, and it was an excellent thermostat. It stopped functioning start of heating season 2022 and replaced it with current generation. DO NOT BUY, DO NOT BUY, DO NOT BUY. As I sit here in my freezing house, I can do nothing more than urge, no beg, you not buy a Nest Learning Thermostat. Perfect choice, easy install for almost any DIYer!

Great smarts & remote access, known hardware fault

The backplane to wire the thermostat is great - the circular mount is something everyone should have. The Nest hardware itself is fine.
