Not only did we make sure to be home for our delivery, my wife and I were both working outside, in front of our house. The delivery driver claimed he showed up and waited “15 minutes”. If he did, he showed up at the wrong house. We were not only at home, but outside, right in front of the house. Lastly, I have video cameras out front that PROVE no delivery truck arrived.

Picked up this product and started putting it together right away. The overall quality is great and so far seems solid and good quality product. I do have some concerns about the instructions included with this product and more so the packing list. I will first address the instructions included. Hardware included in this kit is crap

I gave this product 1 star because of the poor quality hardware that came with the product. The bolts were horrible- two of them broke in half and are now stuck in the studs. The drill bit that came with the kit also snapped in half. Once we had things broken in the studs, we had to shift the whole thing over a bit to find a stud that didn’t already have a bolt broken in it, so this was annoying. Faulty directions and parts - mounting flush

I've spent 3 hours just planning this project, reading reviews, etc. before I start making holes in my ceiling. Good thing I did. Contrary to Gladiator's answer to the questions about whether this can be flush mounted to wall, you CAN'T do so if you're using the Parallel layout option. In that config, you need clearance behind P2 bracket and the wall to accommodate both F1 bolt head AND enough clearance to get the provided allen wrench into the bolt had to tighten. Second Gladiator Garage Storage Rack

We have had one in our garage and ordered this to add some additional storage It is very sturdy, and would recommend this system to anyone looking to add overhead storage. Gladiator also has a TON of other great products. We purchased it through Lowe's and their delivery people are the BEST, they are prompt personable, respected our property and went out of our way to put the package in a convenient location upon delivery.

Wonderful garage storage solution

Wonderful storage solution product. I put this together as an amateur. I needed help from a few others to complete the placement of the base when hanging to the ceiling brackets. If I can do it - you can too! Having your own effective tools will be helpful but not necessary. Sturdy materials with quality feel.

Poor quality, Lag bolts broke when mounting.

Be careful with this product, when mounting the brackets that hold the weight of the shelf to the ceiling joist, the lag bolts broke during installation. This is a serious problem if the bolts weaken during installation but don't break until under load. I would suggest that you don't use the lag bolts supplied with the product and purchase known quality bolts to complete your installation or pass on this product completely. I purchased and installed 2 of the 4 X 8 Gray Steel Overhead garage storage systems. I did not have any problems with the large bolts that were mentioned in prior reviews. I suspect this was an issue with supply during the pandemic which has been corrected. I tightened the bolds with drill and by hand with a ratchet without issue. I like that it is adjustable. Sturdy and wonderful but nor too easy to install

As others have said, it’s a bit diffficult to line up all the lag bolts but there is enough leeway in the final hanging step to make it work. I was very careful to measure all the distances between the bolts and the supports hanging down and it worked. LOTs of work and drilling up through rafters isn’t fast or easy. Likes: good looking, nice finish, light, strong. Easy to install once the brackets into the joists are secure. Cheaper than building something similar from scratch. Dislikes: even with an electronic stud finder it took a while to locate the 2x4 joists behind the drywall ceiling and get the spacing right (I installed the joist brackets perpendicular to the joists).
