We've had it for a month, and I would have bought it way sooner had I realized how much comfort there is in just knowing it's there. We don't lose power here, but I DID stress every time they predict freezing rain, and we did fill buckets of water in the bathtub for toilet flushing every time they predicted bad weather. Now I can forget that stuff and just enjoy life. That's priceless.

Looks good and quieter then my portable generator.

We purchased ours a few months ago and had it installed about a month. We were going to use the existing switch we have with our solar panels and the EG4 batteries but come to figure out we had to get the switch installed by the company that installed our unit because the place to connect to the EG4 inverter was being used by one set of solar panels that was running on AC. Time saving, great device!

My wife t thought I was crazy for buying a stand-by generator because we have a generator that I double hook up to run a few things in the house. Now since we have the generac she sees how handy it is and I don't have to go outside in the freezing cold or rain in order to "hook up" the other one!

It has scared the utility into behaving!

Bought this last year (2025) and it is comforting to know that it is there if I need it. For some reason the utility service has been good and we only had one power failure to test it. Worked very well. It is thunderstorm season now so I am hoping it will run for a few hours.

Outstanding reliability and performance

A little over a year and several long power outages, this thing has performed flawlessly. There are 2 homes in our area that stay lit up during an outage, my mom's and mine. It was comforting to see her Christmas lights on when the neighborhood was dark.

What a difference when the power goes out. We hear a click the generator starts and the power comes back on. I didn’t have to scramble for gas cans, go outside to set the choke, turn the fuel on plug the power cord into the house, start the generator, turn the transfer switch on and switch the generator to house on. Perfect for what we need.

Purchased a year and a half ago. Have had it kick in and run twice for about half a day each. As well as test running it has been very reliable! Great reliability.

We have a peace of mind knowing in the event of an outage our electricity needs will be met. One major concern is that the politicians believe future electric demands can be met solely with green energy. I worked in electric production for 30 years and I know that will not be possible.
