GE Aspen Artificial Christmas Tree Collection

Surprisingly WONDERFUL! Detailed review

We finally wore out our 20 year old GE lifelike Christmas tree. Time for an update, and this is a goodie. A FEW HINTS up front: * Hang a wreath or other real-fir greenery nearby, and the room will smell right! :) * Purchase a good short extension cord, or possibly a down-facing 90 degree wall adapter. You will be unhappy plugging the tree directly into the wall (see below.) My biggest concern before purchase: I was hoping for dimmable LED's. (On our old one, I used a dimmer-controlled outlet; n...

Great tree but Lowes...not so great

The tree itself is great for our needs. Set up was simple. The lights all work and there are multiple settings to keep the kids happy. The base arrived with a broken tightening screw which just means the tree is not tightly secure in the base. Is this a big deal? Not really. My main issue was with Lowes customer service. We purchased the tree on online for black friday then were notified 3 days later that the tree was out of stock in our local store. They said we could get the floor/display mod...

9 ft Tree and 7.5 Tree Have Different Features

I viewed the 7.5 ft version of this tree in the store. It included a remote and the brightness level of the tree could be adjusted. I prefer a 9 ft tree so I ordered it online (it's not available for purchase in-store). It's completely my fault for assuming that the 9 ft version would be the same as the 7.5 ft, only larger. Based on that assumption, I did not read the item description. After the tree arrived, I realized that the 9 ft tree does not come with a remote nor can the brightness l...

Customer service is no help

I purchased model number 23119LO in 2025, when I put it together some lights didnt work, contacted customer service they told me they would be sending us replacement lights. They never came. So I didn’t get to use the tree last year. I contacted customer service this year for replacements so that I can use the tree this year and got no response!

Tip Count 3186. Not exactly what I expected.

The tree sets up fast, easy, and the led lights have multiple ways to display. Color or white. Flash off and on. Or dim. But the tip count is 3186 Which is a lot. But most of those tips are not supported by wire that is able to be shaped. They are flimsy all plastic branches off each wire branch. It's hard to cover the gaps between the branches and it shows the interior pole. The price was right for what I got. I should have gone into the store and seen it in person before I bought it. So that...

Beautiful tree w one issue

This is a beautiful tree and very easy to set up. The branches fell into place easily and took very little fluffing to make it look good. The one drawback that I would recommend to the manufacturer to change is that the connection for the tree topper is not connected to the remote control wiring for the tree. To turn off your tree topper you have to unplug its separate cord from the wall, which defeats the whole purpose of a having a remote and/or foot switch. I like the separate fades for white...

Great tree, but not if you have to have twinkling

This is a nicely shaped tree and set-up is easy. Stowing it at the end of the season wasn't too bad either, but it did take 2 people to wrangle it back into the box. I like the steady lights and the fading lights (white and colors, both), but the "twinkling" is awful. It just turns the whole string of lights off and on, making the whole tree completely dark then lit like a beacon over and over. It's jarring, not festive. My wreath does twinkling right, but this tree fails there. But I like the o...

The best artificial tree out there

My favorite tree at Lowes (and several other stores). I love the slim design. A couple of suggestions for buyers: 1. Register your tree before setting it up. You need a code on the base of the tree for product registration on the website 2. I wanted only warm white constant-on lights. I didn't like the cycling through color options. I solved this problem by purchasing a wall manual on/off switch rather than using the attached mode button. Once you set the color mode you want, it is easy ...

Wonderful Tree but Too Heavy

The pros: The lights on this tree are beautiful, especially the multi colored (the white lights are beautiful too, it’s just that the multi are better than any other tree I’ve seen). It was really easy to put together. The foot pedal and remote are really convenient. The shape of the tree, the fullness and branches are great. The negative: While I loved everything about this tree and wanted to keep it, I couldn’t because it’s just too heavy. While I’m sure that makes it more durable and heavy...

The middle wobbles

I was so excited to get this tree. It was beautiful and what seemed like super easy simple assembly, but the middle section is totally wobbly!!! Put it up last night, and within seconds knew something was wrong. Even a slight touch of the tree and the middle section (section b) shakes. Such a bummer! I have a little one, so can not take the chance of a wobbly tree and for this price it should not happen at all. And now i have to deal with the hassle of taking the tree back - getting it re boxed,...
