Works well for chicken coops
I bought the Garden Craft 1/4 inch galvanized hardware cloth to secure the bottom of a small chicken coop from predators. The 1/4 inch size makes me think it should do a good job for this purpose. Snipping it to size was easy with small cutters and I used a manual staple gun to attach it to the coop. Used for a hail shield on my greenhouse
After some research, I was looking for something to protect the polycarbonate panels in my new greenhouse, and this looks like a good solution. The greenhouse is framed with cedar, and this was easy enough to cut with metal shears. I wore leather work gloves to protect my hands, and would strongly recommend using them when handling the wire mesh.

Sturdy, small sized 1/4” hole
Used zip ties to secure it as the bottom to a compost bin. Have yet to fence small shrubs with it to protect from wildlife or accidentally get knocked over when mowing. Don’t see this small sized hole sold elsewhere as much as larger sized holes.
