What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise these loppers for exceptional cutting performance and robust build quality. Most highlight the clean, efficient cuts through dead wood up to 1.5 inches with minimal effort, and consistently emphasize the solid construction, steel jaws, and 30-inch handles that deliver strong leverage. The lightweight yet comfortable grips enable sustained use without fatigue, and many express confidence in lifetime durability. Some note that live branches require more force and body bracing, which they find less ideal, though this rarely deters overall satisfaction. Most consider these loppers a worthwhile investment.

My first impression is that this is a very solid tool. Steel jaws and long ~30" handles give you plenty of leverage. I cut a 1.5" dead branch on my barberry bush. I would normally grab a saw for this, but as you see in the pics it would have been a tight fit, so I tried these loppers. Dead wood is always tough, and I did have to apply a good amount of force, but it cut through it no problem. My previous loppers had 'pinch jaws' so you often wouldn't get a clean cut all the way through. ...
Loppers that Lop
What can I say, these loppers lop. Nothing fancy, they just get the job done. It cut all the branches I needed it to cut and the handles were comfortable. I cut branches up to 1.5” and it cut fine on most branches. If trying to cut a larger branches you will need to make sure you have been doing your arm workouts! If the branch was dried out then it would cut up to 2” fine, but if not I had to brace the loppers against my body, not recommended. So far I have used it for 1 day cutting doz...
Hedges have met their match
This lopper makes short work of hedge trimming, with its long reach and razor-sharp blade. The curved blade makes it easy to position for the perfect cut. Unlike some other loppers, this one does not get gummed-up with sap and start pinching instead of cutting. The blade stays clean and clear, allowing for non-stop precision trimming. The handle spread is wide enough to allow for effective snaps, but is not wide enough to fatigue short arms. This is easily the best lopper I have ever owned,...
Heavy Duty Feel and Performance
I was impressed right away when I picked up these Loppers. The weight and balance felt like quality and they didn't let me down. I needed to prune my hardwood cherry trees of dead wood and I easily cut branches 1-3/4" in diameter. If I had the strength I'm sure they would of been able to cut even larger diameter branches but those branches I save for a saw. The length of the handles give you excellent leverage making shearing easy and also getting to those higher branches. The grip feel very com...
Great Loppers
These loppers by Fiskars are great! They are heavy-duty and durable. This is a tough and solid item! The blade is both strong and sharp. We used these to easily cut thru 1 1/2" thick branches. The grip is comfortable and non-slip. They are a little bit on the heavy side but work really well. These are much better than the aluminum loppers that we had which were lighter but broke during use. I would recommend these if you need a heavier duty, tough pair of loppers and have the upper body strength...
Powerful and sturdy
Compared to the old set that I replaced, these Fiskar loppers have a very sturdy, strong and comfortable padded grip to help make my work easier. They arrived just in time to help extract a root that was in the way when I was planting. The tip of this UltraSharp blade pierced into the root with ease and made it easier to get in to take out the rest of the root. In less than a minute, I was ready to place my new plant into the ground.
Heavy Duty Lopper Handled Everything I Threw At It
These loppers are a step up from my old set which I have been struggling with on larger branches for too many year. A longer set of handles mean both more reach and torque. The bigger and wider blade tackles everything both big and small. I experienced no "pinching" or "hang ups" at the end of cuts like I would with my old tool. I helped my neighbor take out an old partially dead and overgrown shrub and these loppers made short work of it.
Works well for limbs less than 3/4 inch
Very strong build. The blades did not get bent when pruning the hard stuff. Some will distort when pushed- not these.
Great tool to trim branches
I have an acre yard filled with oak trees and they are great for shade but require a lot of trimming. My previous loopers were a little small and could not always cut the branches that I was working on. The Fiskars can cut up to 2" branches and come with 24" long handles so that I can get down on the bigger branches that need to be trimmed. One can tell by handling them that they are built to last.
Extra long arms for great leverage while pruning
I got these loppers because my old pair wasn't strong enough to trim the branches on my pin oak trees. These did a great job, the handles are about 2.5 ft long and provide plenty of leverage to cut those tough branches. As far as them being ultrasharp, I didn't put my finger in there to check, but they cut through everything I threw at it with no problems. They have a great feel to them and are very heavy duty.

Appreciate your feedback! It's great to hear the lopper’s sturdy build and durable blades handled tough pruning without issue.
