We have had 5 of these ceiling fans for several years and they’ve been great. Recently, we decided we should add a 2nd one to our living room (so now we have 6 total) and I was happy to see they had been restocked. They’re stylish, quiet, and produce great airflow.
Nice looking but does not move air
I bought this fan last year for my garage. My German Shepherd likes to hang out there in the summer months. This fan is quiet, easy to install, and looks very nice, but it does not move any air. You have to be right under it to feel a breeze. One reason for this is that the maximum rotational speed is very slow. Let me start with the positives. This fan is beautiful. I searched the web for months before I found this. Extremely Disappointed
Two things I like about this fan are its style and its extremely quiet motor. But those two positives are heavily outweighed by two huge negatives. Incredibly Slow
I'm very discouraged by this purchase. While it's an attractive fan, that's all it has going for it. People have noted it's very quiet, but I will point out that's due to the fact max speed is incredibly slow. They should face a class action lawsuit over the claimed air flow. High-quality ceiling fan at an excellent price!
I replaced an older ceiling fan with this one about a week ago. Installation is pretty typical, although as others have noted it's a little fussy to attach the blades. I pushed the screws in as far as they would go into the blades and shined a flashlight between the blade and the housing so I could get the screws lined up with the holes to start them. Good but has it downsides
As alot of people previously mentioned, this fan is fairly difficult to install. It has a reciever which slides above/into the mounting bracket. The reciever has 8 wires! Three on one side: hot, neutral, and ground which connect to your power supply lines from the ceiling/attic. Then it has 5 wires on the other side of the reciever that connect to the fan’s motor. The guide to connect wires is fairly simple, but it is a pain to connect 8 wires with wire nuts, then neatly store them above the rec...

Great looking fan, modern and rustic.
This is the second time I've purchased this fan, the first was at my last home. I love the lines of this fan, and it's modern look, I've used it on a sloped ceiling this time around and needed to purchase an additional 12" downrod. The remote has some features I didn't have last time, like "away" which will turn your fan on at different times when you are away from your house. I will definitely use it.

We bought 2 of these fans. Both work amazingly and i actually need a blanket while watching TV during the heat of Texas summer. It is helping with the electric bill. =) However, one does make a creaking noise. SUPER QUIET AND EASY INSTALL
Love the quiet operation, no hum DC motor, no wobble on installation. Install was relatively easy and reading other reviews helped avoid mistakes not covered in manual. No mention is made on removal of 3 screws and black blocks on motor mount before assembly, but minor. Biggest stumbling block was assembling blades. Don't tighten the blade screws first until all blades screws are inserted. Found that the last blade wouldn't align with the holes unless I went back and loosened the other two ...
