I have been using my oscillating tool to cut out my box but picked this up. Works so well and is much more precise! So smooth it feels like arts and crafts time while I’m drawing out the Sheetrock.

So smooth and dusty
Smooth and easy. Kicks out a lot of dust but a vacuum system would help. All of the dust particles are very directional. I was installing some in wall speakers and eventually switched to my oscillating tool. The cut wasn’t as easy to control but the dust particles were heavier so they fell, instead of filling the room. That said, this would be a better option for new builds/remodels where you expect to make a mess and plan to clean up after. Very smooth cutting and control.

One great tool
This cut out tool is the best one I have owned. It has the speed and power to get the job done. It’s easy to use and is very precise. The size is perfect and it feels great in the hand. I would record this tools to everyone from the pro to the diyer.

Easy to Use
I have only used this tool on one job for one old work outlet box. I mostly wanted to see how well it worked and it did well. I sold the major brand cut out tool that was corded before I ever used this one mostly because I have yet to be disappointed with any of my o ther Flex tools. I think with the cord not being there and of course the LED light illuminating the work area it has advantages over the old one. There was no issue of having enough power for this little beauty thanks to the 24 ...

Excellent tool, easy to manage

Powerfull "little" thing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this one to upgrade from my 18v. This 24v FLEX drywall cut out tool is a beast. It's a single speed and spins at 28,000 rpm. You can use bits of 1/8 or 1/4 long shanks but it already comes with two bits. It also comes with a belt clip. This thing feels heavy duty and has a good rubber grip all around. At the bottom there's a compartment to store the wrench that comes with. The thumb screw to adjust the depth guide it's a good size ...
