This saw cuts very fast and is effective for cutting material. The downside to this jigsaw are the adjustment for the bevel cut. You have to use a wrench to loosen the base plate to move it. The saw is also very large and has more weight to it than others in its class. The lighting is nice as well as the included attachment for dust extraction and the chip shield. The tool is built very well and it feels it will last a long time. The ergonomic handle is also very nice.

Power and control
This jigsaw is smooth. I used a Bosch blade and cut treated 2x6. I tried in auto mode, no orbital action and there was very little vibration but a little slow. I took the auto setting off and cut at the highest level and it went through the 2x6 no issues. I used a 2.5a battery and it appeared to have all the power needed.

Just got it...
Give me some time to use it and i'll return to either update this review or add another one. Packaging was great. Everything was in the box comes with two blades and registration was simple. + The batteries that came with my other set works with this tool. This thing also has an auto mode that I will check out and update this review about but overall right now this gets 5 stars.

Cuts straighter!
It's a highly accurate jigsaw thanks to a consumable plastic insert that slides into the base. You cut through it to create a zero clearance guide that does an outstanding job of reducing blade deflection while doing cut-outs and shapes. The bummer? You can't seem to get replacements for it anywhere! I'd dock a star for that, but I think I'll just contact the company instead. Beats the Competition
Rips through 1/4" carbon steel like its butter! Best jigsaw I've ever used! The variable speed and soft start settings are a nice touch. Also, the ability to turn off the dang light is a great feature for when you're working on a piece that you don't want be washed out by the light. I used to tape over the light on the Milwaukee jigsaw, which sucks in comparison by the way!

Another quality investment
Best jigsaw I've ever used. Maybe my take is biased since I own a small multitude of Flex Power Tools. But this easily and noticeably outperforms the Milwaukees I work beside which are of great quality as well. But they just aren't enough! #FlexPowerTools

Ive owned 5 Jig saws in total. Ryobi, Dewalt 20V XR, Milwaukee 12V barrel grip, Wren with laser, Drillmaster corded, and now Flex. Flex is my favorite. Its big, its powerful, it doesn't get stuck in turns or jump up. great extra features and protections.
