Best hands down jigsaw ever!!

I almost returned it but then I tried it .this is by far the smoothest jigsaw I have ever used. Vibration is there but barely. First thing I noticed while I was using a fine blade in it and the other brand I have is the flex did not rip the wood like the other one did .the cuts were clean and very accurate. I was shocked. Great design with clean easy cuts

Bought this to replace my old corded Craftsman that served me well for many years. The design is so different than what I was used to so I wasn't sure at first but wow was I surprised. The ergonomics are well thought out and precision cuts were easy and clean. I thought I had lost this saw, but later found out my son as liberated this saw from my Flex Tool Box and now carries it for construction work. Great saw but, I wish the switches were easier.

The saw is great with many nice features but, is hard to turn off with one hand when holding the work in the other.

A well built workhorse

Like all other Flex tools, this barrel grip jigsaw is well built and delivers. It cuts very freely, maneuvers well and has all the features you’d expect from a quality tool. The dust port keeps the work area clean and makes lines visible, with the help of a nice bright work light. Strong and comfortable to use, but needs...

Feels very solid and powerful. The barrel grip seems to help with more controlled cuts by putting you hand closer to the blade. The dust collection feature is also nice, although the dust collection hole near the blade is small and has gotten clogged a few times with small chunks. A grating or larger opening would probably fix this. Also, the attached dust collection hose (Cen-Tec) gets caught at the edge of the table when using the jigsaw on a cutting table. Good over all tool. Not so good design

Love this thing, and the clear chip guard is a good idea. Although I wished the barrel handle was a little more in the thinner side just for ergonomics sakes. Just find the handle section to be too large.

Superior Tool

I needed a jigsaw to notch some OSB being laid over a barn floor. My Bosch D-handle is packed away somewhere. I own several FLEX tools and love them so I bought their barrel handle jigsaw. Very glad I did. Extremely powerful when necessary but can be run a low RPM with amazing results and accuracy. Simple blade change. Easy to grip, control and access buttons.
