I have other EGO products and my hedge trimmer was old and heavy. zit cuts well, and is much lighter than my old one. Hardly any vibration compared to my old one. I did get the shorter one, but the price was good. Did not have to buy a battery or charger since I already had those for my other equipment. Overall I am pleased with my purchase.

Recall replacement
Got this via the equipment recall. Don’t know why the original product was recalled. Haven’t put it to work yet

I was amazed at the Power!
I recently purchased the EGO Hedge Trimmer with a bit of reluctance as I'm approaching 80 and was use to the gas "things". I dreaded to use my gas hedge trimmer as my arms and shoulders would ache for a days due to the weight and vibrations of the motor. So, the other day I tried my new EGO trimmer on a lot of bushes that needed trimming and some had thick branches. I was surprised! This trimmer did what I needed it to do, it was highly reliable and I did not run out of power! No aching arm...

I’ve had the 24” hedge trimmer and I love it. I had some overgrown flowering shrubs and I was very pleased at how well the trimmer took care of them. I didn’t push it with the 1” diameter branches but it didn’t have any problems with 3/4”. The weight is fine and it’s balanced very well. I got about 3/4-1 hour of run time and that works for me as I’m a 69 year old woman. I have an EGO string trimmer also and I recommend both products. Thank you.

Light weight easy you use. Battery has never gone dead.

It runs great. Plenty of power. Cuts through small diameter branches easily. Battery life/run time is good. Only complaint is it is load. It makes a high pitched sound after it gets going

Powerful light weight far reaching cutter
High power, long reach makes this more than a hedge trimmer. I used it along fence line where tough wild grass needs removing. Cuts better than weed whip down to the base ground of the tough grass bunched.. Can nose the end along bottom of fence line and flip the grass out without touching hog wire or barbed wire. Very good power management for a good cutting tool.. Even cuts fibrous Kahili Ginger stalks saving machete arm effort.

Package arrived open
Have not used the edger yet but as with my other ego tools I’m sure it will work beautifully. However not much care was taken in package handling. It was placed on my front porch bottom side up and when I pick out up the package was completely opened.
Powerful, precision cuts and very easy to use product.

So far so good
Only used it once so far. But it was easy to set up, lightweight, and far better than the old electric one that I had with a cord. It cuts thick stuff like the bridal wreath that I was working on. Easy to hold above my head to do, and keep it level as well. Didn’t have to buy a charger or a battery because I already have those for my string trimmer and leaf blower.
