EGO 56-volt 10-in Battery Pole Saw

The EGO POWER+ 10” Pole Saw introduces an industry-first LED Cut Line Indicator for improved visibility and better accuracy when working under dark, shaded canopies and low light conditions. Its telescopic carbon fiber shaft extends for a total reach up to 13 feet (or 17 feet with EP1000 extension pole, sold separately) while maintaining best-in-class weight up to 30 percent lighter than other pole saws for tree trimming. Tool-free tensioning provides fast, precise chain tensioning so you can get back to work faster. This cordless pole saw makes up to 100 cuts on a single charge with the recommended 56V 2.5Ah ARC Lithium™ battery (available separately). The electric pole saw features a high-efficiency brushless motor that delivers long runtimes, low vibrations, and an extended motor life. Its 10-inch bar and ¼-inch chain delivers smooth, precise cuts with chain speeds up to 20 m/s. The pole saw features a quick-adjust handle for ultimate control along with a shoulder strap and strap hook for added comfort.

Saw is ok.

The weight of the saw is manageable and the tool less features are nice. Saw cuts good. But the bar oil leaking after use is troublesome. EGO said that’s normal. It’s a hassle to drain the oil after each use. This should be addressed by EGO.

Excellent pole saw!

Pole saw works exceptionally well. We're very happy with it. We would like to get the extension, but the price right now is out of reach. Will it be on sale soon?

Excellent pole saw

Purchased this month. I used the recommended biodegradable bar chain oil. So far it works very well. Easy to handle and cut. The shoulder strap helps to reduce fatigue while cutting.

The proprietary bar oil is overpriced

I love the Ego PS1000 pole saw BUT I have found that it goes thru bar oil very quickly for the use time. Problem is, this is a "proprietary oil" and is $14 for 32oz. That's expensive and costly if you need to use the saw for a few hours. I cut 12 - 3 inch limbs out of my Maple tree and went thru two oil reservoirs of oil. If that bar doesn't have constant oil, the chain overheats and loosens very quickly, then you have to remove the bar cover completely off and reinstall it as well as filling th...

Used it for the first time today and WOW! I’ve got a Greenworks and 2 Craftsman which were always disappointing. This monster cut through branches like butter. The high RPM and just quality really made a difference. I bought the extension but didn’t use it as this reached everything just using the telescoping feature.
