This towel bar is by far the very worst I've ever owned. I bought it to replace the Delta "Victorian" double bar which attached beautifully to the wall with a solid bracket. This Providence model has some weird flimsy way of attaching to the wall that makes it so the towel bar is just sitting on the bracket but is not actually fastened to it. DESPERATELY NEEDS NEW MOUNTING HARDWARE!!!
A suggestion would be to include the expanding anchors like those for closet shelving, something durable. I mounted this thing twice before using heavy duty achors (FOUR HOLES PEOPLE). The mounting concept is unique and with the proper anchors will (hopefully) work just fine. But be forewarned, without them any tug will pull it from the wall! I have textured walls and had to spend another $28 to fill, re-texture, and paint the WHOLE WALL so the paint would match. (It needed to match the other fi...

Straight forward, quick install.
Overall very satisfied with this product. The mounting hardware is robust and installs quickly. A note for potential buyers looking for 24” bars, in my kit one of the bars was actually two pieces. One 18” long and the other 6”. Since I had planned to cut the bars down to 18” anyway this was actually a benefit for me, but if installing at the full 24” length, one of the bars would have a seam, which may overtime become a weak point.

Awful mounting
Has the product designer ever installed a towel rack? The mounting hardware on this makes the product useless.
Very poor design
I am remodeling a bathroom and really like the color of this for the room. When installing, the screws are so cheap that they round out even going into the plastic wall anchors. And when I was finished, the bar is still loose and moves around. Delta, I expected more from your products ! The other items for the second bathroom will be going back, sorry :( !
Poor Design
When mounted properly it’s still loose. The bar aparatus mounts onto two wall plates by sitting down onto them. So if you pull your towel up to take it off the bar it will pull the bar up with it. Tonight when getting my towel off the entire thing came off, fell and chipped my tile and scarred the bars. Seeing if I can return tomorrow.

Not sturdy, very disappointed .
Going with a name brand like Delta, I was very disappointed with my purchases. I got this one and the matching 3 piece bath kit. $101.00 plus tax, who has the money to throw away on something that falls apart when you barely touch it. Took the advice from one reply and got better wood screws. Not much help. This is a flimsily two bar towel rack, going back tromorrow!!!!!
