Delta Ashton Black Stainless Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet Collection

Worked fine for a month or so

After a month or so, it no longer reverts back to the normal flow after using the spray function when the water is turned off. Now we need to press the button for the airiated normal flow.

Disappointed in Indiana

I have a love hate relationship w/this faucet. First I never thought I’d pay over $100 for a faucet, just kinda crazy but I loved the features so much I splurged w/a bonus check. Faucet was installed March of 2022. Replaced a leaking faucet. 5 Stars for this faucet. I love everything about this faucet, the height being able to rinse big pots is so helpful. The pull down sprayer is the bomb! Love the spray shield technology is just genius, why haven’t we had this before??! Now for the hate, this ...

Well-made reliable, attractive kitchen faucet

Overall, faucet is very good - PROS: an attractive contemporary style with no sharp edges, great water pressure (no kinks in the hose compared to my previous far more expensive Touch type faucet), adjusts from Hot to Cold very quickly and the sprayer is very convenient and aligns perfectly. Can't figure out when to use the "bubble" of water (3rd spray option). Easy to pull out and reseat the sprayer. CONS:The deck mounted soap dispenser if terrible. I liked the fact that it had a large, somewh...

Disappointed but workable

Spray head is awkward to use, as in doesn’t feel comfortable or ergonomic in the hand. The sprayer has a WIDE split in the stream so you have to continuously manipulate it to cover the area you want. It has a third spray option I am told is for plates but I can’t make it do anything useful. The long length of the spray hose is great, as is magnetic docking but mine always wants to seat at an odd angle. The handle has better water control than the old one but it’s persnickety and takes getting us...

Good, attractive faucet

This is the third Ashton faucet I've installed in as many homes. I like the looks and features of it as well as how it functions, overall. My only complaint is in the installation guide that Delta furnishes. Nowhere does it mention that you have to remove the "gooseneck" in order to thread the hose down and under the sink to make the connection to the faucet. This does pop off by pulling up on the neck, then thread the hose through the gooseneck and through the faucet, then press the goosene...

ShieldSpray and the magnet are great!

I bought one of these in 2019. It had leaking problems and Delta replaced the cartridge under warranty. It leaked on and off during the years and by 2023 and a kitchen sink upgrade, the bottom was corroded with small sections corroded clear through. I called to inquire about a warranty replacement. The first representative was sympathetic, but said that Delta does not warrant corrosion caused by leaks. She did however offer a new faucet at 50% off, which sounded very generous. At least is ...

Best faucet I've ever owned.

This is one of the best faucets I have ever owned. I like it for: 1. The simple handle action. Many single handles like this require more movement to turn on and then adjust temp. You can get a good temp from one single move with this handle/valve setup. 2. The head is perfect! I love that you don't have to align the head to get it to go back into place every time. Plus you can rotate it in the spot to spray sideways and hold that position which can be useful for cleaning large pots, etc. 3...

Excellent and Convenient Kitchen Faucet

I did not install the soap dispenser, to this evaluates the faucet only. The faucet convenience and performance is excellent. I had difficulty tightening the nut onto the stem that holds the assembly to the sink. The pex tubing has to be held away from the stem as you keep the included deep socket wrench pressed tight onto the nut. The pex tubing pushes the wrench off the nut otherwise. So you need someone pressing down on the faucet from above and holding it in place while you apply these ...

Attractive and functional design

This Ashton faucet was purchased to replace a very similar model also made by Delta. Both were purchased at Lowe's. A positive change is that the handle on the newer model doesn't require as much pressure to move back and forth and the same is true of the controls on the spray wand, they push down more easily than the previous model. The older model's maximum aerator function on the spray wand has been replaced by a shield spray function which is ok but doesn't have as much water pressure as t...

Easy to install, looks and works great!

Was easy to install and looks and works great. Water pressure isn’t as strong as my previous cheaper faucet. I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the soap dispenser’s opening is so narrow I had to unscrew it just to fill it up. Make sure you use a thin, quick-pouring soap rather than a thick, slow-pouring type if you plan on trying to fill it from the top, otherwise you’ll need to unscrew it from underneath the sink to do it.
