DAP DryDex Spackling Wall Patch Repair Kit provides a unique dry time color indicator that verifies when the patched surface is dry and ready to be sanded and painted. Provides a smoother finished surface in a shortened amount of time. DAP DryDex Spackling may be used to fill holes and cracks in surfaces such as drywall, plaster, wood, brick and stone. Its ready-to-use formula spreads easily for fast, professional repairs that will not crack, crumble or flake. DryDex dries hard, sands easily and is paintable. Kit contents include everything to complete the wall repair project: spackle, 5x5 fiber tough patch, 4x3 100 grit sandpaper and putty knife. Interior/exterior use.

Drywall repair kit can be used for repairing interior or exterior surfaces like drywall, plaster, wood, brick and stone
Kit contains: spackle, 5x5 fiber tough patch, 4x3 100 grit sandpaper and putty knife
For exterior or moisture exposed applications, apply waterproof primer, then apply waterproof coating prior to moisture exposure
When used indoors, wall patch does not require priming
Dries within 1 hour for repairs 1/8" in depth, for repairs deeper than 1/8" apply two or more layers allowing to dry between
Can be painted after full dry through
Durable spackling will not crack, crumble, flake or shrink and creates professional looking wall repairs that last
Immediately clean up wet product with water, dry product must be scraped or sanded away

Better than expected

I bought this last month so I could get started on my bathroom project. Prepping the walls is always the first step for me. This spackling worked really well for all the imperfections. From smaller dents to larger 1/2" holes in my wall, this worked nicely. After sanding, the repairs were flawless. Very happy with this product

Quick dry, no hassle.

Easy to apply and dries quickly. I'm not one for gimmicks (color changing) but it does help when you have a lot of things to spackle. If you need a lot in one spot, or need it to dry quicker, use a heat gun. Otherwise, this stuff is great.

Definitely for small jobs, anything larger than a nail hole, this is not the tube to get. Comes out of a tiny pre made hole. Struggled to do a patch job. However for the nails holes perfect. Adhesion great, no cracking, dry's in about 24 hours.

Add a LITTLE WATER to the Drydex to make it easier to spread. DO NOT over water as the compound will break down

Great for repairing those uneven surfaces

We absolutely love this for spackling! It gives great coverage, it doesn't crack, it adheres well to the surfaces we have used it on (plaster, paneling, paint). It dries quickly on the surface but doesn't overdry in the bucket. It sands down very well also.
