Needed to replace after 15 years of hard service.

These shoe racks are so good and sturdy to boot. I purchased two sets of these about 15 years ago and one of them is showing wear at the front edges for four of the shoe slots. I know that these do last a long time, all you need to do is take care during putting them together, and I sealed the edges of the pieces for better wet performance. Not what you think - look at the size first

Bought to store shoes (says will hold 15 pair) - ha. Maybe 15 pair of child's sandals. Each little cardboard (and it is mostly cardboard) cube will barely hold one men's shoe. Even a hiking boot will not fit. Check the illustration on the box carefully - the slots are tiny. Else, it is a basic particle wood box, goes together fine but the insert cubes are just cross-cut cardboard and not very sturdy at all. Very misleading how this is shown.

Not the same quality.

This shoe cube is not the same quality as the ones I bought 5-7 years ago. I moved recently and left them in the house. I wish I’d brought them with me. The cubbies and overall size seem smaller on the one I just bought. I use to get a pair of athletic shoes (women’s size 9) in one cubby and now I’m afraid I’ll damage the divider if I try to fit both in. Come on Closet Maid, you can do better. And why is the 25 pair shoe cube double the price??

Inadequate

The cubbies are extremely small, for the parts that aren’t painted, you can’t fit shoes in the holes! Maybe low too Chuck Taylors or flip flops, but not regular or adult sized shoes. The picture is very misleading, the cubbies look bigger but they aren’t. I can’t even fit a PlayStation controller in it without having to turn it sideways.This is extremely inadequate please don’t waste your time!!!!

Creative thinking

I have used this item for several years in my office as an organizer for the clutter that offices inevitably create. It works beautifully for stashing the stapler, business cards, etc. The one complaint I have is that it comes with a cheesy cardboard backing and some tiny nails. When I tried to relocate it, everything fell. This time, I found a piece of quarter inch vinyl that fit the back and Gorilla glued it on. It looks better and hopefully will be sturdier. No more cardboard for me.

Works great for small spaces

We have a tiny home and therefore make use of the vertical space. Bought two of these to stack in closet to replace hanging shoe organizers. They were easy to put together and look great. Was able to get two pairs of summer shoes in some cubby holes and was able to get ankle boots in too (one shoe per cubby hole). Should have done this years ago. Just wish these came in the grey color.

Just What We Needed!

This is just what my wife and I needed to organize our shoes in the closet. The shelf is very easy to assemble and sturdy. We got one for each of our closets, and they each fit 15 pairs of shoes.

no hardware included

This would be a great little shoe storage but when it was delivered the box was torn on the top corner quite a way down and there was no hardware to put it together with. So it's sitting and waiting until I can either find the hardware needed or it gets replaced.

Size smaller than anticipated

The cubes were way smaller than expected. Thought each cube could hold a pair of shoes. Sadly for regular shoes, only one shoe fits in the cubbie. My grandchildren 11 & older require two spots per pair of shoes. Was disappointing for the $44 price.

Cheaply made, very small holes

The photos are very misleading. The cubby slots are so tiny that a regular adult shoe won't fit, not even one per slot. The wood is flimsy and the cubby portion slides in and out when inserting/removing shoes. Very disappointed with this product.
