Great add on for my myQ compatible garage opener!

I wanted to review the myQ Smart Secure Outdoor 1-Channel 1-Camera 1080P Plug-in Camera because I have a garage door opener that is myQ compatible. I synced this camera on the myQ app I had already downloaded for my garage door opener. My garage door opener has a myQ camera built in but with this extra camera I can use it to see the entire garage. Great little outdoor camera

I used this outdoor camera to monitor goings-on at my beach house while I am not there. It was easy to install with just two screws and easy to operate. I have many other cameras of various brands and this one compares favorably on features. It has motion detection, automatic person/animal/vehicle settings, activity zones, etc. That said, there does appear to be some room for improvement. Quick install security camera, requires fixed wifi

This camera unit is simple, with a hard wire power system, nice not requiring battery replacements with a long cord. The cord is also weather resistant at the plugs and once attached, difficult to detach, making it tamper resistant. The camera is very light and super easy to attach. Not a bad outdoor camera

Very easy camera to mount and install. It does get a very good view as we use it in our backyard to check up on the kids. With this mounting to an outlet I wish the cable was a bit longer as not all outlets are where you would want to mount an outdoor camera. A great addition to My Q garage system

This camera was so easy to install. I already have a MQ garage system (and highly recommend) so it was a snap. Took me longer to hang the camera than to attach it to my system. You can set the camera to detect people, vehicles and the range in which you want it to view. This last feature is nice because I live on a busy street. Pick a different camera

Terrible camera. Where do I start? The image quality is poor, the user interface is limited and confusing, and unless you want to pay for a subscription it is pretty much a brick. I forgot to take a screen shot of the streamed image but it is not good. There is no local storage so if you lose wifi you have no security recording and if you don't pay for an subscriptions you only get the live feed. Great camera quality for compact design

Great camera quality and the app is super easy to use and set up. Lots of functionality and customization in the app. Motion sensor and person detection works really well. Spotlight at night is very bright which helps with camera detection. Love that the power cord for this is over 15' long--made it easy to hook up to the power source. Only knock is that there is no internal memory so you are stuck using the recurring monthly service or just the camera as a live feed/alert camera.

We are quite pleased.

We installed th My Q camera/keypad a couple of years ago and it has been awesome. The MyQ outdoor camera is by far the best security camera we have ever had. The quality of construction is high end with a lens that is lifelike clear day and night. We enjoy it's ability to discern between animals, humans and vehicles. You can adjust zones for recording. The installation and setups is very easy especially if you have a MyQ system. We are quite pleased
