I've had this rider mower for almost 3 months now and an estimated 11 hours on it and no problems yet. This is a huge step up from my old JD with a 500cc B&S. Purchased a “brand new” T2200K Craftsman 42” Lawn Tractor. After doing a lot of research, this model seemed to be the best bang for the buck new unit and fully featured. Does not work, horrible customer service.

Since I bought this in March 2025, it has been in the shop for at least 4 times, for a few months each time. I hardly have used this. The lawn mower starts when I first turn it on, then if I shut it off for any reason, it will not start up again. The first time at the shop they said it needed a new battery. Craftsman = Trash

This mower was delivered to my home on 4/16/2025 without a key and a flat tire. Not a huge deal. I spent some money on fix a flat and got it to seal up so the tire would hold pressure. A disappointment - hope Lowe's corrects

In less than 10 hours of use, the transmission failed and the tractor lost all drive (clutch slip / no torque). I'm working with Lowe's to correct the problem (repair or replace). A shame - I have a T210 and it's been great. The T2200K improves over the T210 with a smooth-running, low-noise V-twin engine, and maybe a bit tighter turn radius.

First Arrived Defective - Replaced 3 days later

The first mower arrived defective. The OSR didnt work (neither does it really work on the new one but I disengaged that this time - its simple), and the brake was only used for parking yet the day of pick up and exchange it broke too - but on first use, having done half my yard, the belt bound, smoked, and snapped - I suspect it was improperly assembled. Previously owned a Craftsman DYS4500 for 18 years without any problems. Decided to purchase this T2200K model as a replacement. Lowe's delivery was very timely and professional. Great product, but had to go back to customer service twice. After calling synchrony and they couldn't help fix the wrong promotion entered. Should have gotten 36 months o% interest but instead the cashier gave me 5% off the total. It got it fixed after I wasted gas driving back and forth and paying one months payment @ the cards default interest rate to keep it from being late.
