Chute malfunction

The pitch lever used to move the chute deflector freezes up and won't move. This is unacceptable. I've been told there is a repairman for craftsman is 20 miles away and does not do pick-ups!! I have no way to move a snowblower and it's only a year old. I am a 70-year-old widow and thought I would be able to be self-reliant with this machine for more than one year. Disappointed beyond belief!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this two years ago and was so impressed and what a beautiful machine only ran it 15 minutes job was done and didn’t use it last year but we got over a foot of snow and the only war it will run is by holding the primer button in otherwise it dies ! All that money and here I am having to shovel all this snow while I’m in bad health !

Good Product, Well Priced

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought mine last year at the start of the season worked great, had one issue where the belt was slipping in reverse, after letting it sit for a week it started working again, my guess is some water or ice was on the belt. I've seen people having some problems with it after a year, personally I haven't had an issue. Starts 1st pull after priming 2-3 times

Catastrophic Failure at 34 days - No Support

I purchased this Craftsman snowblower from Lowes expecting it to last more than a few uses, but after just 34 days and three uses, it experienced a catastrophic failure—emitting a high-pitched squeal before shutting off completely. Won't start

This year tried everything won't start. so brand new the plastic still on. had old snowblower for 20 yrs loved it This one won't start and looking at the reviews i see the same. Looks like a lemon law to me. Help.

Can't get much better than this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had our snow blower for 20+ years and still runs as good now as it did when we first got it. Have never had any major issues with it and always starts with 1 or 2 pulls of the cord. Could not ask for a better constructed machine!

Good Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had mine for 5 years or more. I live in Michigan and we get heavy snow. My snow blower still works perfectly. No problems. I help my neighbors when we get lots of snow. It’s a good machine if you do the maintenance.

Frustrated like the rest of the reviewers

Exact same issues as everyone else. I have a 2 year old machine. That won’t start. 1st year I never used it. Last year I used it twice and this year it won’t start. What a waste of time and money. What happened to this brand???

Don’t Buy!!! Waste of $$$$

Bought this 2 years ago (maybe 3). This is only the 5th that I have ever used it. Just like every one else, it will NOT start. It’s like throwing money out the window.

Awful

Bought this select 26 snowblower two years ago. Trying to get it prepped for the winter. Last year ran into issues with starting after sitting all summer long. This year the same. Can’t believe after that much money this product won’t start again.
