Craftsman toolbox excellent buy!!!

I purchased Craftsman Toolbox for my husband for his birthday! He says it’s perfect! Several easy glide drawers that slide closed with a finger nudge and a lift top -and it has a lock and keys! Everything fits perfectly and it’s durable and sturdy! Great gift idea plus you can add it to another toolbox, some even have wheels so it’s great by itself or as a tall tool case!

This box is hard to find at 16” deep which I needed to match my set.

Worth the consideration

Came in and saw this on sale so I upgraded the old storage with much needed deeper storage areas. Love the upgrade so far.

Pretty decent box overall

Overall, I like this box. Things I like: Drawer size, 3 of 5 are deep drawers, plenty of space, pads for sliding drawers. Things that are “meh”: Lid must be open to open the drawers. I realize that enables locking but I don’t need that. Also, no pad for the top bin under the lid. Lastly, Craftsman expects me to affix their very large sticker for them inside the lid. They need to do their own labeling!!

pretty darn good tool chest

I like it quite well, would be nice to have a top that hinged in the middle so it wasn't so tall when open, drawers work well but it did come with one of the soft close sliders broken, they are built a little bit on the light side. It was a real pain getting to the people that could send me a new part and took about an hour on the phone and 3 transfers. The drawer liners are ok but I purchased some better ones. all in all a decent tool box.

Great tool box

Purchases with a rolling cabinet. Wanted one for years and finally bought it. No issues with it. Looks great and feels high quality.

You get what you pay for.

I have been a diesel mechanic for many years, and have a lot of tools. I needed to organize my tools again and started looking for a new chest. I have my father's 1975 Craftsman rolling cabinet, my own 1978 Craftsman rolling cabinet and upper chest. A few years ago I purchased two Craftsman middle chests for more space. I then got a 70s era Craftsman 2 drawer chest. Still needed more space and I was looking at both new and used boxes. Used Craftsman boxes in good shape are going for crazy prices...

Bait and Switch, False Advertising

Just ordered the CRAFTSMAN Garage Storage System 2000 Series Collection based on what I saw in the advert pic on my phone. Now I realized they have downgraded the small tool chest and cabinet from the hooded one pictured as the same height(s) and shape as the other two, and replaced it with a little dinky one that doesn't even match the others at all. Either they fix this or I will cancel my order completely and I'll shop elsewhere. Luckily I caught this before it was delivered. If that's is res...
