Stability

The pole saw did it's job with being able to reach high sitting tree limbs. However, the pole itself is rather unsteady and almost feels like it could break. A little more stability would be great.

Sloppy handle.

Saw works fine but the real problem is that the long handle is way too flexible and can’t be tightened enough to make it rigid enough to keep it from drooping. Doesn’t give you the confidence that you should have.

Quit Working

I used this pose saw maybe 3-4 times. It did a good job, but suddenly stopped woring. My dad had purchased the same one, and his quit working as well. Save the money and just buy a chain saw

Small women prepare to hang on!

Great product for the price. Did exactly what I needed it to do. The only problem I had with it was holding on to it and the reach. I am only 5' 2" and my arms just weren't long enough to be super comfortable using it. I definitely did not have the longer extension on it because I dont think I could control it that long. It took some effort to control it while shortened, but that was fine because it easily cut the larger limbs and branches that needed to be cut down. Its not the products fault...

Description in not truthful; It is NOT 14ft!

The description, and the box states that this pole saw has a 14 foot reach; It does NOT! With the extension installed the chain/bar is about 9ft from the handle. The fine print (that you have to go searching for) on the box states that the "Up to 14ft reach" is is taken from shoulder height of a 6ft tall person. Very deceptive marketing. The quality of the tool is ok.. it doesn't scream quality, but doesn't feel like some cheap temu tool either. Everything but the bar, chain, motor and wires...

RETURN

The saw for this is very little. So if you have a tiny little branch or a little bush, it might work. I purchased it for a larger job. I will pay closer attention to the size of the blade in the future

Craftsman Electric Pole Saw

Purchased for personal use and additional services to offer in my small business. This chain saw does what it’s intended to do, does not struggle with branches and even some thinner vines. Battery lasts a while and reaches as high as I need it too. Wish batteries were so expensive to have multiple but that’s not related to the product.

Decent reach, good for small limbs and trimming

The reach is pretty dang good, doesnt cut the fastest. But its also a battery powered saw, that is pretty long. With the full length the poles seem a little flimsy, there is quiet a bit of flex. Works decent if you need to cut limbs at a decent height. Your not gonna cut limbs in record time, but it will cut them. Wish it had an auto oiler, but thats not a deal breaker for me. Do a quick oil before you start, and if your worried about it, oil it after a few cuts.

Out performed Expectations

Had to cut limbs after a wind storm and general cleanup around property. This little saw outperformed my expectations. cut limbs well and kept cutting without hesitation. surprised me at every step. was cutting for over 8 hr shift charged at lunch but didn't really need to after 3 hours I had only used 1 bar of battery. Was not expecting this to be the workhorse that this thing is.

Misleading advertising

I just ordered this pole saw and got it delivered today. When I was assembling it I was trying to figure out where the two speed switch was advertised in the product pictures. After a bit of internet searching I discovered there are currently NO Craftsman pole saws with a two speed switch. So I think this picture showing it having a two speed switch needs to be removed. As for the product itself, I do not expect this thing to last more than a year or two. The motor doesn't spin very fast at all....
