What Customers Are Saying
The product is generally well-received, with many customers praising its sturdiness, durability, and effectiveness for various yard work tasks. The steel construction and comfortable fiberglass handle are highlighted as positive features. However, a few customers have reported issues with the tines or welds breaking after limited use, and some wished the head was thicker and more heavy-duty. Overall, the product is considered a reliable and versatile garden tool that provides good value, though a small number of users have experienced durability concerns.

[Employee of lowes] Bought this rake as I trusted the Craftsman brand name. I am not an aggressive raker by any means. Just typical use. Took it out the other day and within 20 minutes, it broke. rake just fell out of the wood. Wood is very cheap and was unable to put it back together. Will be finding a different brand to meet my needs now.

Don’t even buy this rake. Bought it end of last year. Decided to pull it out to do spring work and as soon as I tried to use it the top separated from the handle. The rake is not even a year old.I tried to contact somebody about the rake but they make it seem like I have to jump through all these hoops to get something done for me. Need to make it easier for the customer to get a new one without doing a lot of work. Well I guess I’ll need to stop buying craftsman products.

Good rake for the money
It's a very sturdy rake. Used it to move dirt, soil, pebbles, and mulch. Did it all exactly the way a rake is supposed to work. The tines are evenly spaced, the handle is straight, and it's easy to grip. All in all, a very rake-y rake. This is such a rake-y rake that I will not under any circumstances lend it out to the neighbors, on the off-chance that I'll get an inferior rake back in return. I don't need that kind of grief.

Do not expect longevity of the product to be honor
The rake was purchased in November of 2020, not used until May of 2021. The rake is tack welded at the comb, weld fell apart during use. It has a 15 year warranty labeled right on the handle. Lowes instead of just doing an exchange, will give a refund for the item, then tell you the item is guaranteed for 1 year, then rebill you for it. For many years I had trusted the craftsman brand never had any issues. Bring in defective product exchange for a new one, no questions. Lowes does not seem to st...

Poor design not much holding rake together
The rake handle separated from the tines after one season while performing light yard work. The tines got caught on some grass and while pulling, the whole thing just popped off! The tines are only held in place by shoving them down the handle and then sticking the collar over them to apply some extra, albeit insufficient, tension. In my opinion either poor design of some part was missing

Worked For A Season
The rake handle separated from the tines after one season while performing light yard work. The tines got caught on some vines and while pulling, the whole thing just popped off! The tines are only held in place by shoving them down the handle and then sticking the collar over them to apply some extra, albeit insufficient, tension. Won't buy from Craftsman any time soon.

Busted rake
IMO this rake is not worth the money and I am genuinely shocked that it has such a good review base. Mine broke on the 2nd use!!! The actual rake part is not a single piece of metal, it is 2 welded together. I did not notice this when I purchased it or I would have passed on it. It separated at the weld and is now useless. I only gave it 2 stars because it has a nice handle.
Irreplaceable
From the second I picked it up I knew it was the one. It’s like we were meant to be. It rakes everything perfect rocks, dirts, grass, leaves. The handle is just perfect and the teeth are like the perfect smile. With this quality and durability I know I’ll never have to replace it. That’s fortunate because I don’t think it’s possible to ever replace it. Can’t wait to get home and rake something today.
Light Duty
Only disappointment is with the sturdiness in the head of the rake. I used it to smooth over a mulch bed and somehow it ended up with a decent bend during it's first use. I've had to bend it back into place to use again. I couldn't imagine it holding up to heavier materials such as rock. Otherwise, the handle seems very sturdy with a secure grip.

Great for raking rocks off of land
I ended up using this primarily to rake medium size rocks off of the ground in order to prepare it for dirt and sod. This rake was very handy, easy to use, and comfortable to use. I was getting nowhere with a standard leaf rake, so this rake really saved the day!
