great for 2 years, then hydro goes out.

great for 2 years. now I have done maintenance have 100 hours on it. having an issue it won't pull up a hill and slips, I changed drive belt think maybe it was stretched for use , didn't fix the issue, so I done some research and seems that the hydro needs fluid changes also, that didn't help either

It appears to be a good unit; however, there is a 2 inch "rent" in the top of the leather seat. Not sure who to contact to get it fixed. Unsure if it was that way in the warehouse or how it happened - just when it was uncrated it was there.

Disappointed

I ordered a T4400 and it arrived today...without keys. The arms on the seat are worn and cracked, the deck is damaged on the left side and the owners manual is nasty with crinkled pages.

Good Tractor, Bad Assembly by Lowes

The tractor is great, but make sure you go through it with a fine-tooth comb and don't trust Lowes to assemble it for you! Better yet, save the fee and do it yourself. Missing bolts and they didn't tighten most of them that are still there. The front bumper fell off on one side during the first mow and the bolts are no where to be found anymore. Now the mower deck is missing some bolts so it won't lower on one side. I bought two of these tractors for different houses and both have poor Assembly....

Disappointing Decided NOT to buy

Tried this out from my neighbor, as I was consider this or a cub cadet. Coming off a 2004 cub SLT 1550 that has served me well, I could not believe that this craftsman actually picked up speed on its own going downhill. The transaxel should firmly hold speed, not allow the rear to pick up speed. This was a huge red light and enough to steer me away. My old cub NEVER did this so tells me the transaxle used in this craftsman is not high quality and certainly not robust to support this unit. ...

Cheaply Made

Mower frame broke! This mower was used for several years so it is outside of the warranty period but was never abused. It was used to mow an old T-ball field and nothing more. Shed kept and serviced regularly. I'm a bigger guy but only weigh 230lbs. I have several other much older mowers that never had anything like this happen. Save your money.

Beast of a garden tractor

The combination of 54” fabricated deck along with the 5” turning radius cuts down my mowing time. Provides plenty of power with a nice even clean cut. Larger tires and bigger seat gives it a smoother ride over bumpy terrain. No regrets buying this.

Top of the line Craftsman

I’d contemplated this purchase for several months. Comparing different brands, sizes and retail stores. Finally, I decided upon this one based on the mower deck being made of better quality and stronger material as well as it being the only one with a Kawasaki motor. I’m mowing about 3 acres of uneven ground. Half being a hill with a large slope. Lots of trees, flower gardens and things to mow around. My Dad had owned his last riding mower for 27 years. This was his property prior to his passing...
