On 10/10/24 I was forced to purchase a generator after getting hit by Hurricane Milton and having my current 10 year old generator fail. Went to Lowes and purchased a Craftsman 3650 for $657.78 +tax. We bought this after a storm, and it was the biggest one available, so that's how we found it. The name on it didn't hurt it's purchase to me, I've had very good luck with anything labeled Craftsman over my years, so we drag it home, fill it with oil and gas, first pull it sprang to life! Lowes service is awful.

My experience with the product and Lowes service was terrible. 1st, they pushbthese out at inflated prices right before a hurricane and told me after the sale there is only a 48 hour window tonreturn it, unopened and unused. Of COURSE these are loud. They’re gas engines. The directions say “keep at least 20’ away from house” - follow the directions and it’s unnoticeable. As for the electric start; if you have electricity to work an electric start, why do you need a generator? Starts on the first pull, every time. A great deal. Burned it out and buying another

Good evening reviewers, I have read the other reviews and the gen being loud. No kidding huh, who'd have thought. Anyways we have this at our off grid home and have been using this exact generator to power the 1000 sq/ft home for the last 4 months running 24hrs a day. Don't buy power equipment from Lowes

I bought a portable generator from Lowes and when I got home, I took it out of the box, added oil and gasoline but it wouldn't start. After quite a while I managed to get it started but it would only stay running with the choke on and when I added any load it would stall. We bought this generator before the previous hurricane and ended up not needing to use it. With this hurricane and the widespread power outage we have relied on our generator going on 5 days now. Starts right up every time and powers our fridge a few lights, small appliances, our router and WiFi connection, a fan and phone chargers. Pretty much handles everything we need other than getting a whole house generator.

Craftsman 3650 Watt generator

I purchased this for my RV to be able to run the air conditioner. This generator has cranked by the first or second pull. I have not had any issues out of it and now has 80plus hours of use. I have read a couple negative reviews which made me a little apprehensive to purchase it. It’s not too noisy. Purchase what you need, the bigger the generator the louder it is (generally). This had worked great so far and I would recommend.

Great Generator

Nice smaller size generator. Easy starting, not excessively noisy. Connected a refrigerator and it ran without any issue. The generator didn't even surge when the refrigerator turned on. Hope we don't need it, but if we do, I'm confidant it will supply the power we need.

Worked Perfectly

Bought this generator after losing power in Houston back in May. After assembly generator started on the second pull. ran for 28 hours straight with no problems. Replaced oil and checked filter prior to Hurricane Berly. Generator started on first pull and ran for over 80 hours. More than enough power to supply 2 refrigerators, freezer, 2 large fans and a a dishwasher at the same time.
