Perfect makeover for my ceiling fan
Initially I bought these globes as replacements for my ceiling fan in the guest bedroom because 2 of the original glass globes broke. One of the old globes sliced my guest's hand as she was reaching over head to change her shirt and hit it. I have had my eye on these globes for years and always wanted to add them to a fan. I am finally getting ready to update a room and now was able to purchase. The timing was great because the price dropped too! Unfortunately, the existing ceiling fan required a globe that needed thumb screws. SO, I decided to make a quick fix. I purchsed the base socket ring and zip tied them to the globes, than I used the thumb screws to hold in the base. Worked like a charm.

We recently bought these to redecorate a ceiling Fan light. The glass lamp shades that came with the fan were nice but just was a little short of the classy Bling style we were looking for in our kitchen. Of Course these did not fit the Ceiling fan because there was nothing for the screws to hold onto a lip, so a little ingenuity had to be done.
