Nice detailing in this Outlet cover

I was looking for simple electrical outlet and light switch covers to replace the poorly painted covers in my bathroom. I found several inexpensive solution; though as electrical covers tend to be, they were very plain and unremarkable. Then I came across this striking Wood Architectural cover with a paintable wood-like finish and detailed fluted trim border that compliments my bathroom nicely!

No longer made of wood

I purchased some of these last year and they were made of wood, great quality and would highly recommend, HOWEVER, I purchased an additional 8 just recently and now they are made of plastic. The paint chips off very easy (6 of the 8 had areas were you could see the plastic, no paint), I would no longer highly recommend. Same price, but since now made of plastic, paint chips off - very cheap compared to how they use to be made.

Look terrific but...

We bought these for our new home. They went well with the woodwork. They really look sophisticated. However, they scratch very easily. Just screwing them in place scratches them. The twisting of the screw around the hole leaves scratches and removes the color. Some are worse than others and you can see silver showing. But , they are small marks. I still see them though. I wouldn't discourage just warn.

Fantastic Wall Plate

I an totally thrilled with this wall plate. When the workmen left my house they left a raw opening with just the two sockets exposed. As I was puzzled about what to do, I came across this face plate which I thought might do the trick -- did it ever! It covered the space around the sockets just perfectly and no one can see that the space behind it is hollow, the perfect cover up. That it is a similar color to the panel on which it is placed, and that it only requires one screw is an outstanding p...

It's a great wall plate, but...

The color is beautiful and the plate is sturdy, but it did not come with a screw with which to attach it. I checked the back and in the plastic packaging and there simply wasn't one . I had to use the white screw from the previous plate and it spoils the look. Check the package before you purchase.

Beautiful but fragile

Beautiful product but fragile. The covers look great but they scratch easily. You'll need a black sharpie to color over the scratches you get when tightening the screws or marks on them from the packaging.

i saw one of these and i like them so much i went looking for them online. the store was completely out of them. spend the money they are worth it.

These were exactly what we were looking for. They match our oil bronze bath fixtures.In addition we decided to replace all of our light switch covers in our new home. As one worker remarked they make the walls pop.

GREAT LOOKING WALL PLATES

Recently had our bathrooms remodeled and the faucets are bronze. They wall plates were the best match we found and make the bathrooms look great. Screws included are the same color as the plates.

Cheap quality

Bought a lot of these at once for a remodel, a lot of them had scraps and seemed cheap
