What Customers Are Saying
The hammer tacker stapler appears to have mixed reviews. Many users found it to be a fast, efficient, and user-friendly tool that worked well for various DIY and construction tasks. The hammering action was described as easy to use, and the heavy-duty construction made it durable. However, a significant number of users reported frequent jamming issues, with the staple clip and spring mechanism prone to breaking or malfunctioning. Some also found the stapler to be overly heavy and difficult to use in tight spaces. Overall, the product seems to have both positive and negative aspects in terms of performance and reliability.

I almost threw this junk into the woods today. The slightest bump on the back of the stapler causes the spring loaded part to fly out the back dumping your staples all over the ground. Really annoying when working on a ladder trying to hang vapor barrier. Classic example of the designer/engineer having never done a real day of work in their life.
Do not purchase not good quality tool
The spring to hold onto the staples is too easy to open. The spring popped out while using and fell into the insulation in the attic. We couldn't find it. Bought another one to continue project. Spring popped out of that one too. Do not purchase if looking for a reliable tool. If I could give it zero stars I would.

looks good, price is good but
when I was using it and I would slam down to staple and the spring where you push the staples into the back would pop open and all the staples would shoot out of the back. I was going to return it but couldn't find my receipt and I was real busy using it so I got some tape and taped it on and that's what saved me. I would probably spend the money and get the larger one you don't have to slam as hard to get the staple in.

Spring and staples popping out
Bought this to put house wrap up on a shed. After about 5 to 6 staples the spring and staples would come out of the back of it. Have to hold it so part of my hand helps hold it in. I don't know what needs to be done to fix this but something does. Every time it does this I'd lose half the staples. Other than this problem, it works like it should

Jammed beyond recovery
I bought this little hammer tacker for a small (65 square foot) insulation job. I got about 3/4 of the way and it jammed beyond fixing. This is my first hammer tacker, so I don't know 1,000 ways to unjam a hammer tacker, but I watched some YouTube videos without being successful in any of those methods. I returned it and upscaled my purchase to a different type of hammer tacker by another major brand. I have also discovered in this small project that I do not like doing insulation.

Don’t buy it
Spring loading system makes it shoot out about every other hit. Unnecessarily annoying when you’re laying synthetic felt on a roof during the summer

Worked like a charm
I had to shingle a section of roofing and it also needed new tar paper. I only had a tacker stapler and it never set the staples so I bought this hammer stapler and I'm glad I did. It was well balanced and had enough weight that every staple set flush and I didn't need to go back over them with my hammer.

Jam-o-Matic
Purchased this product for little odd and end jobs that require staples. Not one time has this tool worked properly. After setting about 5-8 staples, it will be sure to jam. Rather than throwing your money in the trash on this junk, I'll send you my address and you can just send me your $20.... either way you'll waste your money.
