What Customers Are Saying
The product received mixed reviews. Customers praised the design, build quality, and convenience of the cordless power tool set. The impact driver's performance, long-lasting batteries, and value for the price were highlighted as positives. However, many found the hammer drill to lack power and torque for heavier tasks, and reported issues with the chuck and vibration. While the impact driver was well-received, the combination impact driver/wrench feature was not effective. Overall, the set was considered a good choice for DIY and light-to-medium duty use, providing quality and performance for the money, though it may not be suitable for the most demanding applications.

The drill in this kit is pretty good. I've drilled masonry and wood with no issues. It can also drive some basic fasteners (be careful to not strip cheap screws). However, the impact driver/wrench combo is super weak and terrible. When driving 3/8 lug screws through wood, it really struggled. At the end I could HAND torque the lug screws with a socket wrench better than this. As a impact wrench, this thing could NOT remove lug nuts off my tires, which are only tightened to 80ft lbs (albeit a...

Wobbly Drill Chuck and Torqy Driver
Short summary: The drill chuck has a lot of wobble. The impact driver is too fast/powerful for most applications and the variable speed trigger doesn't give enough control when driving screws in more delicate applications or softer wood. I bought this kit 9 months ago as my first cordless hammer drill. I exchanged the first kit because of the vibration or wobble in the chuck of the drill. The customer service associate said that all hammer drills have some vibration, so the second set was impro...

The Best is Bosch
I bought my first Bosch drill a few years ago. The thing is a workhorse and the battery lasts a long time on a single charge, even after use. I need a power driver for an upcoming project, and I didn't have to think twice about what brand to buy. And the extra drill will be a gift to my son so he doesn't have to start out with the cheap brands that only last a year or two.

Got this set for 99$
I was lucky enough to be able to snag this set for 99$ but i had to drive 3 hrs to do so. Okay I didnt need either of these drills and i own no other bosch tools. I use makita xph07z hammer drill which just puts all like it to absolute shame. I also uae the makita brushless impact and its more than decent. So i saw these for 99$ online and got them. Neither is brushless but for around the house the hammer drill is great. The freak is overrated by quite a bit. I went to drive a 3 inch scre...

Bosch is still the best!
Had my last Bosch impact drive and drill set for 8 years, still working, although the batteries are not lasting as long. Saw this for $99, and went for it, despite the few negative reviews about not having any torque. (all of which look like they are not verified purches by the way) Well they are wrong. The first thing I did when I got it home was to test the impact driver with a 6" deck screw to the edge of a 2x8. Sunk it right to the hub, and back out like butter. No issues with the drill eit...
I am sold on Bosch 18V tools!
Bosch makes excellent tools and this kit is no exception. I have had the set below this for 10 years and has served me well. I can already tell the new brushless motor units with a number of upgrades will be even more powerful and versatile. The charger is the lowest amperage of any of Bosch's chargers but does a good job. None of my original chargers had a single hiccup. The superb service I have gotten from Bosch's battery tools has me looking at all Bosch's 18V offerings to see which other to...

Impact is OK, Drill is trash.
Seemed like a good deal. Bosch seems like a reputable brand and I needed a drill/driver kit. The impact driver has worked just fine for me. Driving screws of all types and 3/8 lags 7 inches in to old doug fir (predrilled). But the drill is trash. First of all it's not brushless, you can see the arc from the brushes when you start/stop it. Second it's got some sort of torque limiter or thermal cutoff that stops the drill when there is too much torque applied. OK, I guess they're trying to ...

Not as good as my other Bosch tools
As a serious DIYer and fan of Bosch, I was a little disappointed with this set. The chuck on the impact tool will not release my drive bits without using a pliers. This is something I often need to do with one hand. This tool also does not have a holder for a spare bit, and I almost always use Phillips and square or torx on removal/demo work. The hammer drill worked well, even with a 1-inch bit, but I am a little disappointed at how much of the chuck wore away when I drilled in tight quarters.

Very good, but…
The design, build, fit and finish, are all excellent. The convenience of cordless is great. My concern is that the power is a bit underwhelming. Just note that for medium duty jobs you’ll probably want more powerful cordless tools. For heavier duty jobs, you must have more powerful cordless tools. I will probably stick with corded for those.

Impact driver/wrench is defective
Just returned this set after 2 days of trying to insert and release one bit into the impact driver. I even took it to Lowes and the employees there could not do the same as well. Also called Bosch customer service with the rep telling me it is a common complaint and her advice to me was to just pull the collet harder. What a joke. Not sure why they are even selling this to people?
