I did not like that the handle for lifting and lowering the blade is made out of plastic and strips out so easily

Great router for it's size

I've used this router for roughly 8 years. I also have others that I use for bigger projects. This palm router has come in handy many many times. It's my go to when I work on light projects or on-site calls. It's very versatile for it's size. The biggest issue I have is the router kept loosing the depth setting. A great saw when new...but no longer so convenient

After 10 years' use of the predecessor 4000 model, the saw/"gravity-rise" wheel stand has been a reliable and durable choice once Bosch kindly replaced the original inflatable tires and their inaccessible valves with solid wheels. Great for a year and two weeks….then paper weight!

I loved this little router until I didn’t. I bought this router in November of 22 and the first week of December of 23 it started surging/dragging and then wouldn’t come on at all. I checked the brushes (light use) and they were fine. Blew out the housing and plugged back in. Same problem. Very intermittent like it had a short. Excellent as a compact table saw

While this is neither as robust, accurate or durable as a full sized cast table saw as a portable saw for site work or a small workshop it is excellent. Mobile may be a better description than portable, I would not want to lug it up several flights of stairs! Blade Brake

I have an older 4100 purchased in 2010. Really like it except for the amount of time it takes the blade to stop when turning off the saw. Does this new 41100XC have a blade brake or does it free wheel to stop like my model?

Bosch 4100xc table saw - EXCELLENT!

I bought the Bosch 4100xc table saw to replace a Delta job site saw that was only five years old but was inaccurate and had a broken, non-fixable fence that Delta has yet to replace.
