Perfect planter

Really happy with this deck planter. It’s sturdy, looks great with my outdoor setup, and has held up well through sun and rain. The size is perfect for a mix of flowers and herbs, and drainage is just right so nothing gets waterlogged. A nice upgrade for my deck space.

Not as durable as others

I liked that these pots are made from recycled materials so I gave them a shot. They are decent but not nearly as durable as the Garden Treasures brand that Lowe's offers. These pots don't hold up well to being moved around when filled with potting mix and less than halfway thru my gardening season had started to crack and tear along the lip at the top. Flimsy plastic for its size and color is sky blue

Decent size to transplant an indoor tree. But plastic is flimsy and received one that had a large chip in the top rim. And no broken part in the box indicates it was packed this way, i.e. already broken. Pictures of planter are misleading, it’s not a medium blue but rather a light sky blue color.

Make sure the bar is attached when you purchase

Love the color, love the size. Just make sure the metal bar is actually attached to the box when you purchase it. I was pretty excited to finally find a window box that won’t bend because the weight of the dirt inside, but the bar was missing so it’s not held together.

Arrived broken

Ordered and received 2 flower boxes. One was covered in bird feces and the other one arrived broken. The package was crushed so I'm sure that happened during shipping.

Functional and well made planters

I now have four of these planters. They are called window boxes but I have them on the deck filled with bright flowers and they look wonderful. They are sturdy and well made. I think they will hold up for quiet a while and were an excellent purchase.

Won't know until used

All but one planter was in decent shape. The rim of one looked like it had been upside down on concrete and pushed around a lot. Whole rim is all worn and rough. For the price I paid it should not have come like that.

Water does not drain

Every plant I put in these pots died. I thought water would drain from the holes in the bottom of the pot but it doesn’t. Bought a plant water meter and the soil was holding water in the soil below the surface.

second year and the edges have chipped

I like that these are made from recycled ocean plastic. I have purchased 8 of these in 2 different sizes. 5 of them are on their second year and two of those have chipped edges on the top lip. I am still using them to grow herbs and flowers in an area of the side yard in back and I like them a lot. The photo is work in progress on this years herbs. I wouldn't use them on my front porch.
